We stayed there last week of August 22 and encountered a number of issues. Firstly, our room wasn't ready the first night and we were given to separate rooms which split our family up. I wasn't happy about this but we had no choice. What was alarming that during our stay, I observed atleast 5 other families having similar issue as you can't help not noticing people complaining when you walk past reception. I think this is a scam by the hotel as they encourage the booking, take the money then the first night you not in the room you paid for. Also the photos on booking.com is a complete lie. The room we stayed in did not look anything like what was portrayed on the site. We booked two double beds but one of them is a sofa bed! Not comfortable and we did raise this but hotel couldn't care less. They couldn't offer us another room so we had no choice to accept it. Moving on, the stay itself was pleasant enough. Breakfast was decent (but orange juice is cordial!), swimming pools sauna steam rooms were great. There is also a huge jacuzzi bath which was nice. Hotel is located 10 mins walk to grand bazaar and 5 mins walk to nearest tram. Cleanliness is poor. I would rate 2 out of 5. Cleaner was in and out like a flash. Didn't do floor etc. I looked under bed and dust has been collecting for months and not cleaned. Overall ok hotel but expensive for the service we encountered. Would I return? Probably not unless hotel can improve its cleanliness and customer service. I should have been offered some sort of refund for the first night and the sofa bed.

Arrived last Friday evening, nice welcome, was informed I had to pay for my room, I had pre-paid, which on inspection, it was agreed I didn't have to pay again.... Dinner on Friday night was exquisite, fabulous service, amazing food, expensive but worth it, the restaurant and rooftop bar are independent of the hotel. Saturday morning, went for a lovely breakfast, back to the room and realised my room door did not lock, informed reception, and a gentleman arrived shortly afterward to check the door. Firstly he said it was my key card that was at fault. When I asked if I could show him the issue, he rolled his eyes and said no. When he did allow me to demonstrate, he walked away from me saying it was technical. I had to call after him to see if it would be fixed, he did not turn around but walking away said, ten minutes. the door was fixed eventually but the whole episode took around an hour. Before I left the hotel (11:20am) I dropped a dress at reception to be pressed. I got back to the hotel just before 9pm, went to my room, no dress, down at reception i asked where it was, the gentleman on reception called the laundry service, and at the end of the call, I had to ask what was happening. I was told laundry would call him back. He then asked what I had left, colour etc. so it could have been in the laundry in a sister hotel, I would get it on Sunday. I explained I was leaving on Sunday and needed the dress now, if it hadn't been ironed yet, to just return it to me.

I will tell you at once - in general in the hotel we liked it. But it, like Istanbul, is full of contrasts .... Now in order. From Aksarai to the hotel to get easy and easy, the main thing is to critically treat the Google Map, it sometimes does not see transitions and leads through .... . The hotel itself met cheerfully, drinked from the road of tea. After short negotiations, they agreed that it was possible to pay not only dollars, but also on the map, for which they were great thanks (in a couple of neighboring shops the cards were refused). The contrasts began further. The 2-local studio number is not what the photo shows. The rooms are small, two beds are placed along the wall + cabinet + 2 places on 3 items (refrigerator, table and puff), so the puff constantly lived under the table, then there was enough space to go. But what are the beautiful mattresses in this hotel! We were so wonderfully slept on them after a long shaking in the city that the size of the room was not taken into account. At first we were offered a room on the 2nd floor, where the entrance to the bathroom was from the room, and the bathroom was as much as possible - the shower was almost over the toilet and they were together detached from the washing machine with a curtain. After our friendly admiration for the bends of engineering thought, we were offered a floor room above, where with the sanul everything was already in full order, and from the window there was a pleasant view to the street at the end of which the sea was guessed. From the pleasures - there was a teapot in the room, as a contrast - there were no glasses. I don't understand. On the question where to take the tea tanks, the hotel owner went to the nearby cafe and brought from there 6 single glasses, the truth the cleaner on the next day threw everything, including clean (lifehak - if to take the cup there, Where they cover breakfast and hide their refrigerator, they will not find them there!). To the word of cleaning, cleaned well, even hanging on the back of the bed things neatly folded in the closet. And continued to clean them there even after the request. In general, the staff of the hotel made a very pleasant impression, tried to help on any emerging issue. For example, the first evening showed the nearest authentic cafe (right from the hotel, right behind the corner, and further 50 meters until you see with the appetite of eating Turks. Very delicious floats and chechen soup! ), and the next morning fed breakfast, Although we haven't got it and we're 40 minutes late. To the word about breakfast. They cover them in the spirit of minimalism - sausage, cheese, eggs, olive, greens, butter, jams, a little bakery, tea, coffee, juice from the package. It's enough to eat before lunch. And if you want a variety, you can find near where to eat. The location of the hotel is successful. For 5-7 minutes you can reach the Sulemania mosque, behind which is Mimar Teras Cafe with a beautiful view on the Golden Horn, and if you go further towards the Egyptian bazaar and Eminen, you can appreciate the close rows of the non-tourist Turkish market. In the same 5 minutes you can reach the Metro station Vezneciler (for the owners of the Tinkoff card - there is Hulkbank!!!) and through 2 stops you can get to the beginning of Istiklial Street or 3 on Taksim Square.

The hotel is really small, only 16 rooms, occupies one entrance in the house. Reception around the clock. I paid at check-in with a ruble credit card, payment in euros, the bank itself made the conversion. We booked a triple room for two to have more space and to guarantee two separate beds. The room provided to us was on the third floor, climbing a narrow steep spiral staircase, the elevator did not work. The manager who arranged our check-in carried our bags to the room. In the room: two beds - double and single, respectively two and one pillows. Good mattresses, good quality white linens. Disposable slippers. Furniture - at least one bedside table for two beds, a large pouf with a drawer, a nightstand, inside of which there was a small refrigerator. There is an electric kettle and two glass mugs on the cabinet. Tea-coffee bags, etc. did not have. Wardrobe, 11 coat hangers and spacious top shelf. On the outer side of the cabinet door there is a narrow high mirror. There are no tables, no chairs. On the wall is a flat screen TV. There are many programs, but almost all are in Turkish and a few are in Arabic. There is nothing in Russian or English, so we did not watch TV.

I chose a hotel near a certain sight and I encountered it on the booking. The price was more than pleasant, the reviews were very enthusiastic, and I decided that I was fit. Frankly speaking, I am a traveler quite uncharacteristic, and on some sins of the hotels I look through my fingers... I arrived late in the evening, and didn't immediately realize that I was set up not here, but in the nearby dorm (that is how) It's called Seyri Istanbul. So it happens - I'm tired of the road, lost vigilance and all that))) About this place I don't even want to say. From the morning I ran to the respiratory Nagehan with a question - ***? A young man with the eyes of the serna began to tell me that in their hotel suddenly I was weak The host and heart-sick workers were unable to put the disease on the frost (+19). I had to sacrifice my comfort. History touches to tears, but, surprisingly next to - it was worth to connect the bucking - there was a wonderful healing (apparently). Don't think of anything bad - I'm a sensitivity to the suffering of the neighbors. But not at my own expense. About the hotel itself I will say - I am terrified about where tourists who wrote about a chic breakfast and a stunning hotel were staying before. I will repeat - I am an uncomfortable tourist, but never met such Swedish tables (soluble coffee, dry cream, grins, cooked eggs, personal plate - with three olive oil, three cubes of cheese and two pieces of sausage, juice - powder). The room where they were settled - twisted but - clean, bed fresh, towels - too old but clean. Of the toilet facilities - two mensours with champoo and two - with shower gel, two soaps, paper slippers. Sound isolation, softly say - none. After the word - I will return to Istanbul, and this place will be bypassed for nine lands.

Hotel is in a good location 15 minutes walk to major tourist sites. First room they put us in was next to the lift so everytime the lift moved it felt and sounded like an earthquake. They moved us immediately which was good to a bigger room. The internet in this hotel is non existent it only barely works in the reception. I complained several times and a technician was sent but it did not improve. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeper/maid was very good and very polite. Towels looked like they had not been changed since the 1980s all falling apart. Water was cold unless u left it on for 5 minutes to worm up and water pressure was poor. There was no breakfast available for the time we were there we were told to go to the next hotel. The reception staff did not speak good English and were rude and not listening to what I was saying, telling me ”you are wrong” when I was clearly right, he was just talking about something else. The only saving grace for this hotel was the porters especially sabrt who was polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable of the local area and could bot have helped us more. I suggest to the management if they are reading this that they put the porters on reception and the receptionist as porters. The porters speak good English and have manners and know how to speak to people. If it had not been for Sabrt then this would have been a complete disaster. Thank you sabrt keep up the good work it was a pleasure meeting you. From the big guy.

Booked a standard double room and it was awful. Immediately had to ask to change rooms, as the room was tiny, and felt worse than a premier inn or holiday inn unfortunately. We were given a deluxe double room instead but at a charge of 140 euros on top for 3 nights. Noticed the bathroom vent in the deluxe room was mouldy, and also when the temperatures became hotter in the evening the air conditioner was not cooling the room properly so it disturbed our sleep and caused a lot of discomfort negatively affecting the day ahead. For 2 days since landing the toaster was apparently broken in the breakfast area, so would be having eggs for breakfast without proper toast. They could have accommodated guests with alternative toasting via an oven for instance, but no. I complained to customer relations and the young lady who saw to me was VERY GOOD, she listened and provided room upgrade to what they had best on offer at the time. We were then given a room on the 5th floor with a view of the beautiful masjid opposite the hotel, and our window ledge was wide enough for us to sit and enjoy the view. Spa services were also nice, they're separate to the hotel but in the same building. Overall pleasant stay, good location near the Vezneciler metro station 3min walk away so in terms of getting about it was great. Hotel value was certainly not up there, it is overrated and should be slashed half a star.
