"Disappointment instead of 4 stars – poor service and food The quality of the hotel absolutely does not match its 4-star status; at best, it is a 2 or 3-star hotel. The disappointment began right upon arrival: the bus driver simply left us on the road, pointed in a general direction, and we had to drag our heavy suitcases uphill and up the stairs ourselves, completely unsure of where exactly to go. No help or hospitality whatsoever. The condition of the room was also disappointing: the shower head wouldn't stay in place, the water barely sprayed out of the tap in all directions, and we had to flush the toilet 4–5 times for it to work properly. The only bright side was the wonderful housekeeping staff, who cleaned everything thoroughly and beautifully every day, as well as the beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. The food was very monotonous and often heavily oversalted – simply meant to keep you from staying hungry. There was no variety, and for dessert, only watermelons, melons, and mushy jelly. The drinks ("all-inclusive") were weak local brands, mixed only with local sodas, with no cocktails available – the juices were so sweet and sour that they were impossible to swallow. The biggest absurdity occurred during the grill bar dinner, for which we had received an invitation. The girl working there could not keep up by herself, we waited half an hour for the food, and they forgot to bring the salad altogether – we had to ask for it. The served "grill" food was tragic: the smoked sausage was somewhat edible, but the shashlik and the steak were completely dried out, too salty, and impossible to eat. It was the exact same food from the main buffet, just brought over by a waitress. The hotel grounds look quite nice, but are rather small. The bartenders at the pool and the evening bar were very pleasant and friendly."

"We stayed three weeks at El Greco and enjoyed our stay. The apartment was lovely, fully equipped with a nice patio. For a spectacular view of the area visit the top floor. Manolis is a gracious host, who is always available for questions and advice. We received a welcoming package at arrival and later he brought us olive oil. So sweet! The cleaning lady (forgot her name) was also nice. The swimming pool was great. We also loved the fact that there was a washing machine available. We will definitely be back for a visit. Thank you Manolis❤️"

His wife, Mrs. Aliki called us the day before we arrived and let us know that there would be someone at the property to meet us. The accommodation is exactly as described. It is exceptionally clean and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. The property is quiet and private and in a stunning location.
