Barracuda Hotel & Villas

The best hotel with better friendly staff that made us feel at home , they upgraded our room because of it being our honeymoon and let us check in earlier ! We did the spa and the girls were absolutely amazing! They had great skill and the convenience of it being our room ! We also enjoyed the yoga class , it was our first time and the instructor made sure we enjoyed the class ! The food was amazing and very inclusive of our dietary requirements

Firstly - I sincerely apologize to the whole team at Barracuda for my delay in writing this review. I ran out of superlatives to describe our time there. The location is wonderful, the rooms unique, the food and cocktails are amazing but what makes this place stand out is the team. You will be blown away by the warmth of every person, who are immensely happy to enrich your experience in the most genuine and authentic way. Then you need Paulo who leads the experience team and they connect all the dots. You simply have to dine in the hotel restaurant as often as you can (the special events are amazing and I still dream of he grilled lobster), but you also have to experience the river boat ride, swim in a waterfall and then have incredibly fresh barbecued fish caught right there. Or a day at the most amazing beach club, a cocktail at sunset looking over the river - Paulo and team organize it all. You think that is great but the rest of the team in the restaurant or reception magically take an interest and are proud to share the inside story. To say that Barracuda is paradise plus would be absolutely spot on. We are already planning our return trip…. Thank you Barracuda Tribe.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, and gorgeous property. The restaurant was delicious and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. Two of Itacare’s beautiful beaches are a 5-10 minute walk away, and the town also is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy Bahia! We loved our week-long stay at Barracuda and highly recommend it.

Best hotel in Itacare. The villas are absolutely wonderful with some of the best views I’ve ever seen. The staff is also incredibly friendly and I can’t think of a single bad experience during my stay. I would highly recommend getting a massage here as well, it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

Simply the best - folks like Cadu, Alberto, Addison and Paulo truly made the experience so memorable. I loved the breakfast and the kitchen at dinner. The yoga teachers were great. The location is great and the setting is stunning! Zero negative input. Only good vibes

Gorgeous hotel with everything you didn’t know you wanted. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful sea views, and the infinity pool is beautiful and long enough for lap swims. There is a well-equipped gym and yoga studio with daily sessions. The massage therapist is fantastic. Delicious food. Best of all are Paulo and his staff, who know what you need before you do and shower you with kindness and attention. He orchestrated a wonderful boat ride ending with the best grilled fish on the beach we have ever eaten. Everyone shared the best of Itacare with us and we felt very lucky to be in their care!
