One of the highlights of our stay was the direct access to the beach. The private pathway leading down to the turquoise waters made it easy to enjoy sun-soaked days by the sea. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, especially the owner, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and pampered. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home, as if I were a part of their family.

I’m not sure how anyone could have had a bad experience at this hotel. It is in the most beautiful location, the food and design are wonderful and staff were warm and friendly. The rooms are a bit small as in most historic properties, but who would want to stay in the room with that gorgeous water view outside? The swimming - with sea turtles- was amazing!

The beautifully restored 18th century Mani tower hotel forms part of the stark tiny village of Limeni made of blinding white stone surrounded by a crystal clear turquoise sea. A swim straight from our comfy minimalist room, via easily accessible steps into the cold May waters, is a definite Must! On the terrace, generous delicious breakfasts and exquisite dinners are served by the attentive staff. Our host and owner is charming and warm. With only a few rooms, a stay at Pyrgos Mavromichali, feels both private and personal. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything in Limeni is outstanding. This is a hidden jem. One of my favorite spots in all of Greece. Sea turtles, crystal clear water, and amazing restaurants. Well worth the trip. This is a spot that Greeks enjoy.

A unique place to relax and admire how the long efforts and the good taste of the owner have resulted into a magnificent conversion from an old castle house into a wonderful boutique hotel! Breakfast with a grat variety of specialties. Personalised and attentive service. The access to the sea to swim was 5 meters from our terrace door! Veru quite and discrete. Near by a small number of bars, restaurants , boutiques etc. Also close enough to visit very ineresting places like the Old Oitilon, a monastry Areopolis and Gerolimenas!
