K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel

How to say... If I was young, I would like it very much when I first came to Japan. Because of the novel experience, I stepped on the creaking wooden floor in the century-old building, looking out the window at the pine cypress, the stream of ducks and the distant mountains. But, probably the expectation is a bit high or I am used to a good Japanese-style hot spring hotel, and maybe because I didn't book a room with a private bathroom, the first youth travel experience of my life, the overall feeling is average. Because the first floor is renovated, there are many spaces for gatherings or rest alone, one window and one view, harmonious and comfortable Japanese leisure atmosphere. There is even a computer (but of course it is not easy to use and cannot be turned on). The kitchenette is enough for one person to use, boiling water instant noodles and making tea. Room, general. It may rain and rain for a day, there are bugs. Public toilets are forced. It is also strange that I have lived in various Japanese-style hotels remodeled from centuries-old houses, including the use of public toilets, which are old but clean, comfortable and interesting, and even the Nagano Temple night stay, extremely simple, very comfortable and comfortable. But Khouse feels uncomfortable and unhygienic. Of course, foreigners like this, cultural wonders, party chats on the first floor, and sleep on the floor at night. Some foreigners who are not familiar with Japanese hot springs go directly into the pool. More responsive. In short, it is recommended for passengers who have not experienced the more nerve-racking of the Japanese-style old building hotel. The price is really not expensive, so don't compare with the hot spring hotels of thousands. It's not a meaning. Next door to the East China Sea Hall, the same style. There is history and culture, I personally feel that it is a bit old. Easy to eat nearby. Opposite the carp rice needs to be booked at least one day in advance (peak season). 4 minutes walk from the station taxi 8-10 minutes. Overall 3.5 points, the probability is my own problem. But my daughter also feels so-so. Youth travel is still suitable for young foreigners and first-time Japanese foreign families.

Facilities: A century-old hot spring hotel. The facilities are a bit old, but it does not affect the stay experience. Hygiene: The room is clean and the hotel is also clean and comfortable Environment: Quiet and peaceful. The room needs to be taken up to the second floor by a small cable car. It is more interesting. The outdoor bath is also on the second floor. The view of the hot spring is great. It is really comfortable to take a bath in the morning. Service: The service is first-class. The owner was very enthusiastic and introduced in detail. When leaving the store, he arranged a car from the store to take him to the station. I was quite satisfied.

I stayed in the Tokaya room. The weather was cloudy, but from the room you can see the open-air bath and Oshima beyond. Just soaking in the hot springs while admiring this view is satisfying. The temperature of the open-air bath can be adjusted, so I was able to take a leisurely bath after making it lukewarm. Maybe it was the right time, there were no insects. The room is old and you can feel the oldness here and there, and the screen door was badly installed, but it is acceptable. Meals are served in a private room in the main building. It was a dish using high-quality ingredients, and the amount was too much to eat. It was served in a timely manner and tasted good. Most of the staff were young, but they made a good impression. I was a little worried because there were pros and cons, but it was good to stay without any problems.

I was intruded by the car for two days a night. When I stopped to park because there was a parking lot near the entrance and the place near the entrance at the time of arrival, it was a parking lot of the far side that was invited to this side and guided, so I stopped at the nearer side. Check-in was politely guided by the facilities, but it was very office. The reservation was away with an open-air bath, but it was a two-story building and a first floor room of four rooms. The location of the original 々 may have been a valley or a high humidity place, but the smell of mold was filled as soon as I opened the door. The cleaning was polite, but I thought the living room desk was broken by the ceiling and broke for a moment .... The bedding was comfortable with thick eye mat and feather futon, but personally the pillow was low and it was hard to sleep. The hand washing was a little toilet smell, and the blindfold of the open-air bath was broken, and it was like an old private house that was not used rather than an old private house. The work clothes of the room clothes were a little thick and thin despite the summer. The public bath has two large bathtubs, the open-air bath is a large rock bath and a wooden bath, and the pottery bath is very substantial with two hot water and sauna. There was a note that the floor was slippery due to the influence of the water quality, but I think it would be better to have a stop slip, including the stone stairs outside. The free service of hot water, Yakult, coffee milk and milk is heart-hating. The dishes are two choices of meat pottery and seafood shabu shabu, and you will choose at check-in. I thought I would choose meat and fish with my husband and wife, but I chose the seafood shabu shabu because I could only choose the same thing for two people. It was a 60 year old couple, but I was able to enjoy the amount, seasoning, and variety with my eyes. Dinner and breakfast were very satisfying in all, including the staff's response. However, the check-in was 16 o'clock, and the 19:45 assigned to the first order dinner was a bit slow. I didn't use it, but there was a service of soup powder to fill the belly until late dinner and a service of night ringing ramen. Check out was smooth without waiting because it was possible to finish after breakfast. The room was very satisfied with the dishes and the public bath while expecting improvement with a severe evaluation.

The hotel is located near Izu Kogen JR Station, but the hotel is a bit away from the station. The boss can drive a Volvo to pick you up for free. There is no place to eat, drink, and play around the hotel after six o'clock in the evening, so you must have a full meal before going to the hotel. Buy snacks at the convenience store near the station. You can add the boss’s WeChat English to communicate with the other party’s pick-up time. The boss’s English is very good. After picking you up, you will be asked if you want to go to a convenience store. The next day you can ask your boss to take you to Omuro Mountain, it’s free

Although I only decided to stay here for the passive reason that it was cheap, in the end it turned out to be the right choice. It is true that the entire building showed some signs of aging, but it was close to the station, the rooms were spacious, and I didn't find any of the unsanitary points that other people have pointed out. And most of all, I was happy and grateful to be able to enter the hot spring facilities of the same ”Itoen Hotel” annex and Matsukawakan, which are built nearby, for free. Actually, after checking in, I went to the nearby ”Hotel New Okabe” for a day trip to the baths, and was treated rudely and roughly at the front desk, not even thinking that I was a guest. After that, I visited the hot spring facilities in the annex and Matsukawakan, and was able to gently soothe my rough feelings. Coincidentally, I stayed at ”Itoen Hotel Hanamisaki” in Shimoda two days before, and at ”Itoen Hotel Atagawa” in Atagawa the day before. I never encountered (although I was a little annoyed by the steep slopes of Atagawa).
