We stayed for 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday and had arrived at 1pm but were told we couldn’t check in as too early although we didn’t need the room but it would of saved time as when we came back at 3.30 – there was a long line and an hour wait, so not the best start. Then our room was on the 1st floor when we’d requested a high floor (there are 8 floors). We used the stairs and were greeted by an awful smell, lots of rubbish and dirty laundry by the service lift. The corridor is dark and the carpet desperately needed vacuuming! The room view/ambiance was very disappointing as so dark and gloomy as per photos. Anyway, other than the noise outside from the trams and drunken party goers late at night – you might get some sleep if you’re not a light sleeper like me as even ear plugs couldn’t block out the noise. The bed was huge and very comfy with 2 x single duvets, room was large/clean and bathroom had a good shower/ hot water. There are only 2 pillows which are very soft, fortunately we had our own (as we had travelled by car). There is a fridge in the room and coffee/tea/kettle. Breakfast was chaos Saturday morning; everything had run out and hadn’t been replenished. Lots of people complaining and I overheard someone saying they wouldn’t be paying. The next day wasn’t quite as hectic (we went earlier to avoid the rush). Still very busy but at least there was butter for the bagels/bread and eggs in the cooked station. What we had was enjoyable especially the sausages. If you’re staying more than one night, there is the option to have a voucher for a free drink instead of housekeeping which we went for. Parking: Public car park located under the hotel and costs 22 euros per 24 hours. No discount available for hotel guests. Location: Easy to get around from here on foot although unfortunately there were quite a few homeless people/beggars in the area. With so many hotels available, we wouldn’t return to this one.

Stayed here 2 nights with family of 4. The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. Food (ex. Pizza) and beverages are available in the lobby any time of the day. This hotel is roughly a 30 min drive from the Gare du Nord. Pros: - Around 5-10 min walk to the nearest train station and another 10-15min train ride to the city (2.10 euro for a single ticket) - Laundry room (with iron) and gym located on 2nd floor - Beds and pillow are luxuriously comfortable. Very impressed with the high quality of the rooms and the great customer service - Carrefour grocery market 1 min walk Uber is very cheap in this city compared to other EU countries. Please note this hotel is situated right beside (or is connected) to a hospital. This means taxis are available all day long but sirens will be heard throughout your stay. Overall, I recommend this hotel to those visiting the area. I however, will stay in a hotel in the city of Brussels next time around.

Definitely not for the faint hearted. Was a one night stop so we survived.
Area was not great but convenient for train station. However this is not my main gripe
Firstly the room smelt absolutely appallingly. Strange musk like cigarettes and damp combined. Secondly some of the lights did not work.
Thirdly the air conditioning began to leak water all over my bags.
And finally got awoken at 7:30am from labourers working inside the hotel drilling banging and hammering away

Hotel was very clean and located 2-3 minute walk from the town centre and grand place. Was super convenient as we saved lots on busses/taxis. The hotel was slightly noisy though as it was super full.

Stayed here two nights in mid-January 2023. Hotel is located in a gritty area, with much construction, but just a five minute walk to the main train station, with many transit connections. It's about a 10 - 20 minute walk to various tourist sites in the city. There are convenience stores and dining options nearby. Staff was OK but not overly friendly. Single room was small, but clean and the price was fair. There was a heating/AC unit on the wall but one button was missing and it didn't appear to be working. Temp was OK. There was a small desk and chair. Shower and sink were in the room and toilet in a small closet. The window opened into a narrow ventilation shaft so it was rather dark. Wifi, lights and TV worked fine. I didn't pay for the breakfast. It wasn't great, but it did the trick.

The receptionist service is very good, the hotel is clean and comfortable, there are hair dryers and bath products, but there are no slippers and toothbrushes, you need to bring your own. The location is not bad. It is about 15 minutes from the attraction area. Very good experience.
We're overlooking Place Rogier and the Botanical Gardens, within walking distance of Brussels' main shopping streets, top attractions, restaurants, and businesses. Brussels-North railway station is four minutes away, and we're 15 minutes from the airport by direct train. Perfect for meetings, our hotel has a large conference capacity and the newest modern technology to host any type of event.

I spent a couple of nights in this hotel and to my surprise the atmosphere matches the (visual) story the website tells. It's a relief compared to many other hotels I've stayed in. It's almost as if you're in some classy exotic holiday hotel. The Botanic gardens right outside the hotel make up for the lack of atmosphere of the area... although the location very near the North train station is very convenient. The informally clothed staff are young, very friendly and energetic. The bar at the top floor of the hotel is a nice surprise! One of the Barista guys went out of his way to tell me about many details of the hotel and its philosophy, gave tips of where to go and what to see... all the while busy preparing mean coffees. (Scruffy beard, earring... Petey?) If you need to stay in Brussels for business (or pleasure of course) I can only imagine it must be a relief that some hotel chains do understand how to make you feel at home. (I'm regretting now not stealing the nice mug from the room!)
The Best Western City Centre is a 3-Star hotel which offers good quality and service. At the top end of the 3-Star market, our well-maintained and comfortable hotel offers diverse facilities, luxury rooms as well as extremely friendly and helpful staff. We are within walking distance of many museums, such as old and modern arts, musical instruments, chocolates and cocoa, Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art, Hortas Art Nouveau, a beer brewery, and more. The North Station, which is at a five minute walk from our hotel, provides good connections to places including the airport. For the frequent travelers, the Best Western City Centre can provide corporate rates as well as other attractive arrangements. Enjoy your stay.

My partner and I have just come back after a new year break in Brussels. After reading the reviews we were a bit sceptical about the hotel but we had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is fine for what we needed it for-mainly to sleep after a long day exploring Brussels. The rooms were basic-yes, but clean and comfortable. The location is great, around a 15minute walk into the main square and a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station which we used to access the atomium. We didn't find the area to be uncomfortable, even when walking home on New Year's Eve at 1am. We booked as part of a Eurostar package and for the price we paid we were very happy. You get what you pay for! Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't book as part of our package-there are lots of places in the centre to eat.
Immerse yourself in a whole new hotel experience. We bring hospitality alive with art, reflection, and a splash of quick wit. In the exciting, colourful capital of Europe, Cardo Brussels beckons you in. We are on a mission to transform hospitality. Our vision is to make city breaks and workcations less apologetic, more purposeful and tuned to the self. We take a full-fat approach to everything, hurtling, not strolling towards life, and revel in every single part of our quirky Belgian culture.

Had an amazing stay. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The cocktails at the bar made by Benjamin and Sarah were amazing. In regards to the food, the cardo burger, ”the fish” plate and the chocolate cake dessert were all delicious. It's always a big plus to have a bar with friendly staff and good drinks. Will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI can't say enough about great stays at Moxy. When I go to Europe, I generally try to find a reasonably priced, independent boutique hotel in the city center with high ratings. But on several recent occasions, I found myself in hotels that were clean, well-appointed and convenient to everything, but which had scratchy sheets or hot foam pillows. So for Brussels I reunited myself with Moxy. It was more than a half a mile walk from the central train station, but that wasn't a deterrent. The lobby was as comfortable and eye-catching as every other Moxy I've stayed in. The breakfast offering was amazing with a massive choice of hot food, pastries, nuts/granola, juices, sliced meat and cheeses and, of course, coffee, espresso and cappuccino. The bed completely relaxed my body after a sleepless redeye flight. And the spacious Villeroy & Boch shower further reinvigorated my stiff bones. Moxy hotels are great. Stay in one if you haven't already.
PPragThe hotel is not bad in all aspects. Although the location is not in the city center, it is not far from the city center and there is a Luxembourg train station nearby, so it is very convenient to travel. I didn't eat breakfast so I don't know the quality. The room is relatively spacious and comfortable, the only problem is that the water in the shower room is not smooth
AADTKThe hotel is a little distance from the station and the main attractions. When you go to the hotel, there are many uphill sections and some sections are under construction.
The hotel lobby has a different style of seating area, which is spacious and has an elevator to take.
The style of the room is minimal, the environment is clean, and the space is small (a little crowded, unable to flatten two open suitcases); the shower has a shower, the strength is enough, but the drainage is very slow; there is no air conditioning in the room. The window needs to be opened for ventilation, but the sound on the road outside after opening the window is very noisy.
The breakfast style is rich and delicious, and hot water needs to be available at the counter.
The hotel counter staff was kind and friendly, and met a girl who could speak Chinese when checking out.
GGuest UserWhen I chose Aqua Hotel I had in mind the proximity of a means of public transport (about 5 min walk is the subway station Porte de Namur), the positive reviews of other travelers and it caught my attention in the photos posted on booking.com and TripAdviser a large decoration inside the hotel. Arriving on the spot, the first impression was of a decent hotel, but because I already have some experience in traveling and after talking to the reception staff and the hotel manager, I can say that it is a very good hotel. The hotel was made 12 years ago. In the building, which was completely renovated to meet the new use, the offices of a branch of Kodak were previously located. I understand that the owner of the hotel is a great art lover and even had an art gallery before the hotel where works of contemporary Belgian plastic artists were exhibited/sold. Paintings that were not sold now decorate the hotel rooms. In my room I have a 2014 Yorik Efira. This explains the decoration that I mentioned before. In fact, it is a work of art belonging to Arne Quinze. It is made of wooden planks painted in a shrill blue that contrasts with the whiteness of the walls. The work symbolizes several streams of water that are found both outside and inside, seeming to penetrate through the glass roof of the hallway at the reception. The work follows the elements of the building and gives the impression of dynamism. Quite unusual for a hotel! The bed is comfortable, all the installations in the room / toilet work flawlessly, cleaning is done every day. Breakfast is rich, diverse, and the omelette is present. Next to it sausages, or small slices of roasted ham. And the pastry, a miracle! The staff is very kind and provides accurate and useful information about the problems you may have as a tourist in Brussels.
SSrrano03the receptionist was super friendly and had no problem talking to me in my idoma, the truth I felt super comfortable and just with that they won me ☺️ I was alone and put me a mini room that was a past, super clean, Very well equipped even with hair dryer, had a small ventilator for if he had heat and a TV that from bed looks luxurious, an ideal size and was noticed that it was relatively new! I was super happy to recommend a lot if you travel alone because you are super comfortable and the treatment of workers is excellent 🥰🥰, in addition, with the 71 bus leaves you only 5 minutes from the hotel and then you are alone at maximum 10 minutes on that same bus from the Grand Place and the Royal!! if you are Spanish do not hesitate to visit this hotel 🤗🤗
GGuest UserThe younger brother at the front desk was very polite and nice. Breakfast is good, although there are not many varieties.
The room is not big, expected. After all, the price is OK.
There are too few charging sockets, this is not expected.
The room is on the 4th floor, but after entering the front desk, you have to go to the next floor and then go to the fourth floor. It is 10 floors back and forth.
Although the hotel said sorry, the elevator was not repaired and it was really too painful. The family is old, 10 floors back and forth, climbing two or three times, too tired.
It is recommended to ask the hotel elevator before booking.
GGuest UserWe had a room on the first floor. Upon entering, we were missing linens for the fold-out sofa bed and the airco didn’t work. Called reception and bath issues were fixed quickly. Breakfast was great at the Renaissance next door. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Decent WiFi speed. On Friday night there was a raging party in the renaissance ballroom that didn’t quiet down as promised after 22:00. We called and nobody answered. Called several times, messaged through the app, and finally my wife went to stand in the queue of guests who couldn’t sleep. After a bit of pushing we were moved to another room, farther away from the noise. Glad the issue was sorted but the amount of noise was simply unacceptable for this property late at night and the staff was unable or unwilling to address it, leading to having to re-room at least half a dozen guests that we saw.
