We loved the place and the people. We were treated so well. Our private "home" was perfect. Cool and breezy, amazing decor, lovely touches and such a sense of place. The property is beach front, but unfortunately much of that entire area's beaches have rip tides frequently, so no swimming. But there is a lovely small pool (two if one unit is not using their "private" pool), plenty of hammocks, sun chairs and umbrellas, and delicious food made on the spot using super fresh ingredients. Note that our unit was not air-conditioned, but the overhead fan and light breezes, as well as the cross ventilation of many windows, made it temperate and lovely. It is conveniently close to the airport - an upside - with some plane noise on the outbound flights. Not enough to take away from this unique spot! Would definitely go again. Great to chill out there, so spend some days! I only wish that rip tides were not prevalent in many parts of coastal Mexico! Note that you must pay at the resort, and there is a % upcharge for credit cards. I missed that part, but apparently it's buried somewhere on the *********** site. Also, great idea to bring lots of pesos. It was difficult to not have enough cash, as many establishments do NOT take cc cards, and atms are not that easy to find, and may run out of money. Big banks in Zihuatanejo charged a lot in fees!
