My partner and I stayed here for a commemorative trip before she left for a long-term stay overseas. Getting there by train and then walking was a bit of a hike, but it was absolutely worth it! The food and the room were both amazing, making for a truly satisfying stay. Thank you for arranging the cake we requested beforehand. We had a wonderful time here (^.^) The young lady at the reception desk had such a lovely smile and was incredibly helpful!

We booked an independent villa, which was a very typical Japanese-style house. It had a living room and two bedrooms, plus an additional living room upstairs. The bathroom was excellent, with both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. The small garden was beautiful and very tranquil. It's also very close to Shuzenji Temple, and the surrounding scenery is lovely.

Absolutely lovely hotel, a bit far from the center of village, but with hot bath outside

Absolutely gorgeous. The room (more like a small apartment) was beautiful, classic Japanese ryokan style. The outdoor bath was amazing, so peaceful and lovely to sit in it in the cool winter evening. The facilities were really great, nothing to want for. All toiletries provided and a really good hair dryer. The staff were very helpful, suggesting restaurant and helping with our luggage. Such as serene peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was very clean, and the soup was served in each suite; there was no soup available outside. Perhaps because it was the off-season, there was no breakfast or dinner, which was very inconvenient. The Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk were very helpful.
