"LOCATION is super good. Within couple of minutes to Taikooli, which has lots of shops including a big supermarket and plenty of eateries. Also within walking distance to Chunxi and IFS. APARTMENT is big and spacious and good for at least 4 pax (mine was a 2-bedroom Japanese-style apartment). Very aesthetic and IG-worthy at every corner of the apartment. View from room was amazing. Although looks old from outside, it is actually nice and clean within. Comes with kitchenette with fridge etc, washer, 1 bathroom cum toilet and 1 separate bath outside (open concept). There's a big screen wigh projector to watch movies in the living room. There's even a fireplace with logs! Free bottled water every day and you can request for daily housekeeping at your preferred timings. OTHERS: There are 2 mini marts within the building, it's easy to get ******* delivery. Convenient to get Didi. A few cafes and quaint boutiques, roadside food stslls and street vendors just outside the apartment building. Communication woth the apartment staff via WeChat was seamless as their responses were always prompt. Overall, highly recommended!"

"My stay at the Huajianfu Hotel in Chengdu truly exceeded my expectations! It's located very close to Du Fu's Thatched Cottage, and the poetic atmosphere is breathtaking as soon as I open the window. The room is elegantly decorated, and the stay was incredibly comfortable. I especially want to praise Ms. Tongxi, the front desk clerk. She was incredibly attentive from check-in to check-out. Upon arrival, she helped us with our luggage and patiently explained nearby attractions, even meticulously noting popular wonton shops with locals. I forgot my charger, and she quickly helped me sort it out. Her warm smiles throughout the entire stay were incredibly welcoming, and she wasn't perfunctory at all. The Huajianfu activities, like making incense and giving tours of the Thatched Cottage, were all incredibly fun... I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu!"

"With my family away this time, I decided to take a solo cycling trip. Having frequently stayed at the St. Regis in Shanghai, I was keen to experience the Chengdu property. The St. Regis boasts an excellent location in the highly convenient Chunxi Road/Taisheng South Road district, offering unparalleled accessibility. Upon arrival, the prominent 'Evergrande Group St. Regis Chengdu' sign instantly brought back nostalgic memories of the economic boom's glory days. Entering my room, despite it being a standard category, I was genuinely impressed by its spaciousness – the hotel truly delivered above expectations! As I was here for cycling, I rented a bike, and the concierge team very thoughtfully stored it for me, making pick-up and use incredibly convenient. After my first day of cycling, I enjoyed the buffet at the Show restaurant. The young restaurant supervisor was exceptionally polite and courteous; seeing her brought back memories of my own youth, and I found myself unexpectedly moved to tears. On my final day, due to unexpected heavy traffic, I only made it back to the hotel for check-out at 2:05 PM. My butler was incredibly understanding and thoughtfully extended my check-out time, giving me just enough time for a lightning-fast shower before leaving, which truly brought my cycling trip to a perfect conclusion."

"For our family's self-driving trip, we booked two twin rooms. Fortunately, one of them was upgraded to a panda-themed family room due to a booking system glitch. Even before we arrived, the concierge proactively contacted us to confirm our arrival time, which was a very thoughtful touch. **Location**: It's a tranquil oasis nestled in an alley near the old Baima Temple site, reminiscent of a traditional *machiya* I once stayed in Tokyo. We parked our car in the backyard, and the staff even brought our luggage to the lobby. **Ambiance**: The dry landscape garden in the courtyard is both exquisite and grand, incorporating all my personal favorite design elements. The lobby entrance and front desk feature beautiful walnut wood decor. The staff are all incredibly gentle and professional young women, dressed in elegant, uniform new Chinese-style robes. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere, right down to the fresh lotus flowers and pods in the vases. **Service**: During check-in, we were offered refreshing cold brew white tea, with its delightful floral aroma and coolness. Our family room was on the second floor, and the twin room on the first. We had quite a bit of luggage—five or six suitcases—all of which the staff kindly helped us carry to our rooms. The rooms are simply and tastefully decorated, combining understated elegance with high quality. They feature high-end fixtures like Kohler faucets and rain showerheads, and the family room even came equipped with Jellycat toys. After checking in, we went out for dinner. While waiting for our car in the courtyard, the staff suggested we wait inside the lobby. However, we preferred to sit outside, and noticing this, they thoughtfully brought us mosquito repellent, concerned about insects. This small gesture truly made us feel even more cared for. Upon check-in, each room received two packets of tea – one black tea and one jasmine – which we enjoyed with the complementary tea set. It was perfect for a calming late-night drink after a meal that was a bit too spicy and salty. In the evening, they had sweet soup reserved for us, which was delivered to our rooms past 11 PM. We received four bowls of delicious, sweet, and refreshing mung bean soup. It was so good, though there was so much we couldn't finish it all, which was a shame! Overall, despite only staying for one night, I would absolutely choose to stay here again on future trips to Chengdu and wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family."

"It's so comfortable, the price is reasonable and the experience is great! The breakfast is quite rich, almost comparable to that of a five-star hotel! I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take pictures! The location is also very convenient, and there are so many delicious foods around."

"It's close to the company for business trips. The staff is nice. It's close to Shuangliu Airport and Joy City. The room facilities are a bit old. There is no USB port for mobile phones at the bedside. The sockets have to be unplugged to charge the lamp. Everything else is good. Welcome fruit and milk were given on the first night of stay. When checking out, lovely Chengdu specialties were given 🐼"

"Checked in 4 nights with them. on the first night and already asked them to top up their shampoo n body bath but they asked me to wait for their morning room cleaning check via WeChat but it never happen. So we live with it until the third night not a single drop left and I’m half way bath!! A lady took some time to drop by and pass me miserably almost empty bottle body bath as replacement. They did came by on the 4th day to place new bottles in the bathroom. Oh btw those who likes to receive parcel. This apartment don’t have that service. You’ll have to collect it frm nearby collection stop which open late and close early. Other than that everything quite ok. Value for money. Have enof drying racks and hangers"

"The front desk staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. I stayed for two nights, and on the last day, after a tiring visit to the Panda Base, they kindly granted my request for a late checkout until 3 PM. This hotel genuinely puts its guests first. It offers excellent value for money. It's a 5-minute taxi ride from Chengdu East and also just 5 minutes from the subway station. The surrounding area is a lively residential district with plenty of delicious food options. I enjoyed local specialties like Maojiezi Pork Intestines and Pig's Trotter Soup right here, and they were just as good as anything you'd find near tourist attractions. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. On both days, I saw the housekeeping staff diligently cleaning, and they always greeted me warmly. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance."
