"The hotel itself is located in a relatively quiet corner of the TST hot spot near the ISquare/Harbour City, it is relatively hard to miss the impressive front door of the black marble looking exteriors. Check-in is Very smooth, cash deposit are required but easily done. For the first time staying of this hotel i’ve requested a higher level room and a quiet corner, which happens to be 11th (top level except roof common area). Room is as advertised ,very spacious and clean looking (typical wear and tears of material aging is expected but doesn’t looks gross). for visitors that enjoys their own balcony view it is better to ask ahead if the room assigned has it, for me although it was a room that didn’t which is fine, but the eye catch is the toilet - bath tub and the shower is separated which allows flexibility for both type of bath time enjoyers too, those whom need longer stays and/or like taking long bath in a tub will enjoy the big tubs, but the overhead ceiling shower is just as great for morning refreshers. bed had its own smaller TV screen with wall mounted extend arms for lazy watching which is great if you’re relaxing while enjoying the Victoria harbour view from the window, but also a living room bigger tv , although the downside is sometimes the remote will controls both units at the same time, so nighttime tv bingeing becareful of volume bursts from a different tv. room air conditioning is room self-controlled - the panel is right next to the main TV so for travelers that is sensitive to temperature differences is a plus, as you don’t have to worry centralized air con streaming cold airs in cooler days or during sleep, you had the control at your own hand. only things that may be worth considering is that the room is wood tiled - occasional cracks from old tiles misaligned can occur when you step on it so if your roommates are light sleepers and prone to awakening from noises, that could be a problem. also while unfortunate as it is during festive times and beyond hotel controls, noise can be excessive if there neighboring room(s) are booked by party goers or occupants had returned drunk. as the hall noise is very auditable. security is standard where after 6pm it requires your room keycards to access lifts and the hotel doors as well. A small but noteworthy point is the gym at 6th floor and their rooftops- technically on the 12th floor, the roof is a fairly open area with a limited but still great view of the Victoria harbour amidst the neibouring buildings that is 2-3 rows away from the harbour side. while not certain is it remained open overnight as long as accessing with keycards, it is great for the city view. however not recommended for people with Fear of heights- as glass barriers are only to waist levels that can be easily lean over. also the rooftops lift indicator is not as visible/auditable while waiting for it arrivals, so if the single lift that can reach the rooftop is out of services it may become unavailable , or if unlucky you might be locked out. overall it is a surprisingly fair price but great accommodation choices, while noise concerns can be servere if you happen to be unlucky when other floor occupants go berserk, but surrounding areas noise is not intense even it is next to Kowloon Park Drive intersection ramp just 1 block away."

"Located in Tsim Sha Tsui East, it's just a 3-minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station. Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars are right across the street, and it's close to K11 MUSEA and the Star Ferry Pier, making it convenient to get anywhere. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the sea-view rooms offer expansive views, perfect for watching boats during the day and the light show at night. It's an excellent spot during firework seasons. These are rare large-sized rooms for Hong Kong (sea-view rooms start from about 45 sqm). The bedding is comfortable, soundproofing is good, and the rooms are well-maintained and feel new. The marble in the bathroom adds a luxurious touch."

"This hotel is located on a lively street in Wan Chai, offering convenient transportation and excellent facilities. It's definitely a hotel worth considering for a long-term stay. The rooms are quiet, though a bit small, and the hot water supply is plentiful. Very good!"

The hotel itself is a bit old, but the service and facilities are reliable. While the cleanliness and newness of the amenities might not match a newly built hotel, they are still satisfactory. The hotel sees a large number of guests daily, and the staff are patient and professional. Plus, there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. My last stay was at the InterContinental Grand Stanford across the street, which cost 1600+ per night. This time, the Regal Kowloon was 900+ per night, and I feel the value for money is comparable (I booked a room without a view). If you prioritize convenience, choose a hotel near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. If you want more scenic views, go for the Grand Stanford. But if you're looking for good value, comprehensive facilities, and decent service, the Regal Kowloon is a solid choice."

"Our 'standard room' (902) was advertised as a corner room, and while it wasn't exactly that, the view was still great, almost directly overlooking Kowloon Park. I also didn't experience any of the renovation noise that some other reviews mentioned. After a tiring journey, it took me a while to find the hotel entrance. It's actually not on Nathan Road, but on Kimberley Road (Miramar Tower Two), right next to Coach. The hotel is very close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit B2, and the surrounding area is excellent for exploring. I'd suggest upgrading the duvets, though. The down filling isn't fluffy anymore; it's a bit lumpy in places."

"Hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at in Hong Kong. The room was spacious and clean, and it's located right near Victoria Harbour. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk from the Coliseum via the Hung Hom MTR station overhead walkway. The service was excellent all around. Plus, there's a cafe on the second floor with a live singer performing from 7:30 PM, which created a really pleasant atmosphere."

"Close to the MTR and easy to find. For this price in Hong Kong, the room is probably the biggest I've seen. I looked at so many other hotels, and their rooms were all tiny, tiny, tiny. This hotel's room size is definitely worth it!"

"This truly lives up to its reputation as one of Hong Kong Island's long-standing five-star hotels. It boasts an unbeatable location right next to Pacific Place in Admiralty. You can access the hotel directly from the MTR station via an underground walkway on the basement level, which is incredibly convenient as you don't have to brave the elements! However, this hotel attracts a lot of upscale travelers, so expect a bit of a wait for check-in and for staff to bring your luggage to the room. 😂 The pros are definitely the spacious, minimalist, and clean rooms. The turndown service is a lovely touch, with chocolates, a handwritten welcome card, and cookies – truly top-notch (yyds)! My only minor gripes are: 1. The soundproofing in the room could be better; I could hear a bit of noise from the neighboring room, even at the bathroom door. 2. There was a bit of a wait for breakfast."

"The Mandarin Oriental, though not ostentatious, is perfectly nestled in the bustling city center, making access incredibly convenient. While the facilities show their age slightly, they are meticulously maintained – floors gleam, handrails feel smooth, exuding an old-world elegance throughout. The doormen and most restaurant staff speak Mandarin, offering a warm and friendly service. At the front desk, while some Hong Kong-native staff might not be as proficient, English works just fine if you speak slowly. My favorite was the elderly gentleman at the baggage counter; every time he saw us, he greeted us like a kind uncle from next door, his warmth always a comfort. The welcome towel and drink were perfect for unwinding. Though the chocolate amenity was replaced by an orange this time, it was refreshing. The fruit knife, probably meant for butter, was too dull to cut anything, so I just peeled the orange by hand – it was actually quite amusing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with authentic dishes and attentive service. The only slight issue was that the seating staff were a bit busy, so we had to wait a little. Also, the billing process was a bit odd; sometimes they asked for a signature, sometimes not, but I just let it be. I heard this was Leslie Cheung's last stop before he passed away. I wonder if he also used this same dull knife that couldn't cut an orange when he stayed here? Now that we've come, all I feel is a sense of peaceful serenity, with many others also coming to seek a connection to his memory."
