The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the GLOBECOM conference venue, and there are many特色 small eateries nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making both check-in and check-out very efficient. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western dishes available, and the taste was also great. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next conference!"

"Overall, pretty good. Would recommend staying here. The location is quite convenient, with numerous bus stops right outside. There are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner nearby, plus a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart downstairs. However, a crucial heads-up: **definitely bring earplugs!** The air conditioning unit is extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep without them. Additionally, the shower curtain in the bathroom was moldy, so be mindful if you plan on using it."

"Our family of six stayed at Hotel Èclat Taipei, occupying three different rooms on Level 5. Overall, the rooms were cosy, stylish, and felt luxurious, but our experience varied noticeably from room to room. One point to note is the lack of basic amenities — toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided, which may surprise some guests. Additionally, the room features were inconsistent: - One room had heated toilet seats, while the other two did not. - One room had automated curtains, while the rest were manual. - Another room had warm water from the bidet, but others did not. Although Hotel Èclat is a 5-star hotel, the lobby is relatively small and may feel cramped, especially when multiple guests are checking in at the same time. Sound insulation could also be improved, as we occasionally heard guests laughing late at night. That said, there were definite highlights. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and both the water pressure and bath products were excellent, making showers very enjoyable. These details made a big difference to our comfort. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent. It is extremely close to Taipei 101, which is very convenient for guests planning to visit the area. The hotel is also situated between two MRT stations on the Red Line, each approximately 400–600 metres away. Walking to and from the MRT stations was pleasant, especially with the cool December weather, making the commute comfortable and enjoyable. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast, as we preferred exploring traditional ********* breakfast options nearby. The staff were polite, professional, and accommodating, assisting us with umbrella rentals and ensuring our rooms were on the same floor, which we appreciated greatly as a family travelling together. Overall, Hotel Èclat offers a comfortable stay in a prime location with attentive service, though greater consistency in room features, amenities, and shared spaces would further enhance the experience."

"This is my go-to place every time I visit. I must say, the front desk staff—especially the older lady, a younger female colleague, and the gentleman on the night shift—are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service. The location is convenient, and the rooms are spotless. It's truly a top choice for anyone planning an overnight stay in Taipei!"

"It's about a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT Station. There's a coffee machine on the first floor for unlimited drinks, which is great. The room is quiet and cleaned very well every day. I recommend it. The biggest disadvantage may be that it's a short distance from the MRT. That's it."

"It was really nice having a private hot spring in the room, and the quality of the spring water was excellent. The surrounding environment was also lovely. Today's temperature was around 20 degrees Celsius, so soaking in the hot spring warmed me up perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. I was surprised by how many rooms there were in the three-story building. I thought it might get crowded with only one elevator, but there was no significant congestion during breakfast or check-out times. Downstairs, there's a Carrefour, a French supermarket chain, where you can find pretty much anything you need. They even sold fresh ********* beer with a surprisingly short 18-day shelf life. Next to it, there's a Starbucks. There are also plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. I'd definitely like to come back again."

"Location is convenient with restaurants, 7/11, supermarkets nearby; 300m from mrt station, walkable to Raohe night market, Mt elegant and tanpei 101 (25-35 mins), if you take mrt, it takes about same time and need some transfers. Bathroom is huge, cleanness is ok, ac was very cold and cannot be adjusted for each room. Some ventilation or water pipe or ac noise due to older systems, if you are a light sleeper, you might mind it. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great."

"We've stayed here twice, and both times, the lingering smoke smell from the previous guest in our room was really strong. Also, because the breakfast area is under renovation, the breakfast options have been the same few choices every day. Could the menu be updated? (We've been staying for over ten consecutive days now), and we're genuinely tired of it. No matter when we pick up our breakfast, it's always cold. Plus, the salad greens are the exact same every single day. Could you please vary the types of vegetables? I'd also suggest swapping the fries for seasonal fruit; cold fries are really unappetizing. And there's no tomato juice. These are just a few suggestions. Thank you!"

"The room was exceptionally spacious and very comfortable. Its quiet and private setting ensured a truly undisturbed stay. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent, and transportation was incredibly convenient."

"Chose this hotel because it has Jap style toilet bowl (warm seat & smart bidet) + it is near all our fav food joints. It provides real towel & towel floor mat. Shower room glass door closes well so no water flowing all over bathroom floor issue. As the hotel entrance is in the backlane with 3 access lanes, suggest to give the 2 addresses shown in the photo I took instead of 105 Xining Road. When I used the address: Lane 34, Section 2, Hankou St, the taxi stopped exactly right at the entrance to the lane leading to hotel entrance. Suggestion: Only 1 mirror in bathroom is not enough. Will be perfect if they add a full length mirror on the wall in the bed room near power socket so one person can use hair dryer to style hair or do makeup while the bathroom is occupied by the other person."
