We were a family of 5 with 3 teenagers all with severe nut allergies and would always be very careful in India. We encountered our first nut contamination here at a 5 star hotel. The inroom dining menu clearly stated no nuts for a chocolate brownie and when it arrived there were nuts on them. We clearly tell staff each time of nut allergies. Our son required Epipen administration for something that should never have happened. Cleanliness was poor with 4 pillows noted to have hairs on them in large bedroom suite connected to another room.and bathrooms not well cleaned when we arrived. Club lounge happy hour was very poorly run, it states that it starts st 6pm and when we arrived 6.15, no one was there, drinks were locked and no food available. Staff came.later and food only available at 6.45pm. We ate room service every night and there was no consistency. Chicken burgers 4 were ordered, 2 had 2.chicken patties in them and another 2 burgers had a tiny piece of chicken patty.. Never have we encountered this many issues at any other international 5 star Intercontinentals as an IHG platinum ambassador. Our impression was the staff and management was not well run during the 3 night stay and much could be done to improve customer experience.
