What a pleasant surprise! This hotel was perfect. Our room included a kitchen area with stove and refrigerator, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. Utensils and dinnerware included. A lovely little living space, separate bedroom and bath. It is nice to be able to leave your bedroom to use the bathroom so as not to disturb your sleeping partner. Super clean! I loved everything about it! Good job Marriott!

We’ve stayed at this location frequently since it opened. A few months ago, we gave it a 5 star rating, but given our recent experience, we’ve revised it to 1 star and we will never, ever go there again. When we were checking out after a three-night stay, the Guest Relations Manager blindsided us by loudly tearing into us at the front desk. At one point, he even called my wife an a**hole. We were dumbfounded. We’ve always traveled with our dog, stayed at this location, and there has never been a problem. The manager said our dog had been barking and he had to move guests because of the noise. The thing is, he never contacted us when the issue first arose so we could have had the opportunity to find the problem and address it. Instead, he waited until the end of our stay when he said, and repeated many times, that it’s “common sense” never to leave a pet alone in a room. That’s odd since their website pet policy says nothing of the kind. He said it didn’t matter what the website said, it was now the policy at this location that guests can never leave a pet. If that’s the case, then why do the rooms have a hang tag for the doors stating that there’s a pet alone in the room? Nobody should be treated like we were.

I am staying at this hotel right now. I have no keys for my room and the person at the desk lobby has to let you in your room. This is a huge inconvenience considering I have a pet. I am only staying here because I was not told until I had already paid and I am concerned I would not be able to get a room somewhere else tonight. Plus, I have this sign on my door I have shown a picture of below. I have to wait at the front desk for the person to unlock my door when I have to go outside of my room for any reason. I feel like I am in jail. No apology given and when asked to be another room this was refused.

Room design, kitchen set-up, and bathroom are all above par. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. We had three rooms for our family; everyone slept well and was very happy with the accommodations. Breakfast offerings excellent. Front desk and breakfast staff especially helpful. We will definitely recommend this Janesville TownePlace Suites to others.

This is a new property, that already needs repairs. Good: this is one of the nicest properties in Janesville WI. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are feather pillows. There is an outdoor picnic/fire pit area. Not so great: The walls: You can hear the guest upstairs using the toilet, conversations in the next room. There is construction on the adjoining property, and heavy machinery starts up before 6:30 AM. The bathroom vent doesn’t run. The shower in my room took a lot of work to get water flow from tub faucet to shower, and the majority of the water flow was through the tub fill. This caused the tub drain plug to push closed. As a result, the tub filled with water during the shower. Breakfast was typical. The outdoor picnic/fire pit was the smoking area.

We stayed two nights, 3:people in a one bedroom suite with sofa bed in main area. Small but adequate and well organized. Modern, very clean. Desk staff was friendly. Quiet. Windows open a few inches, which we really like.Morning breakfast was better than most hotels of this class. A few tables outside can be used for eating. Fitness center was fine, no broken equipment! We would definitely recommend, and would stay here again.,

We had never stayed at a TownePlace Suites before, but this was a pleasure. We arrived after midnight. Normally, night clerks aren’t as friendly or accommodating as staff in the daylight hours, but we found the staff to be attentive, professional, and very helpful. The room (319 - two beds) was very spacious, clean, and well appointed. The large fridge means you could use this as a stop on your way north and keep food cold. The breakfast buffet was ver nice and opened at 6am. Selection was very wide including quiche, sausage, eggs, biscuits, oatmeal, and bakery items. Waffles are available on the weekends. All in all, this was a very comfortable, quiet, and pleasant stay. Definitely recommended.

we were in town for my granddaughter's baby shower. There are no rooms with two beds in them. We chose one king and a sofa. When the sofa bed was open, it touched the foot of the king. There was no way to move around the beds. You had to crawl over the bed to get to the bathroom. The bathrooms have no tubs, only showers with doors that cover only 1/2 the side of the shower. There was water all over the floor. Pool was warm, but no hot tube. Breakfast was fine. The small kids thought it was fun to make their own waffles. There are tables in the lobby to eat carry in food. Location is close to expressway exits.
