My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, so a taxi ride usually takes about 20 minutes. However, waking up to the sea view every morning is incredibly relaxing. I'd recommend it if you have your own car or a private driver. If you don't mind the parking or taxi fees, then this hotel offers good value for money.

Greeted by friendly hotel staffs upon arriving. It’s a decent hotel for the price paid. However it’s a little old and the carpet flooring seems to be quite dirty. The rest of the room is clean. Definitely worth mentioning is the shower water pressure and the automatic toilet bowl. They also changed towels daily and I think the sheets too. Sometimes they give me water sometimes they don’t. During winter, there will only be heater working - both room heater and floor heater. Would recommend staying for non-choosy travelers. Oh yes, carpark is a little small for the hotel, if return a little late, then probably have to park on non-designated slots.

Excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's conveniently located just over 20 minutes by car from the city center, yet far enough to offer a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. This makes it an ideal hotel for a relaxing getaway.

It was a good stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. There is a convenience store and a gift shop in the hotel as well. It's next to the sea so you can take a stroll and enjoy the smell of the ocean.

Service is good and good parking lots with EV charger. All is good, except that the lights could have been brighter as it was too dim for the room and bathroom. Slight musty smell and stain on carpet.

The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable, far too soft. The amenities were quite outdated and basic, lacking much of anything. The location was also quite remote, making it very inconvenient if you don't have a car. Overall, it was overpriced and offered poor value for money.

Hotel location is at Aewol by the sea scenic drive. Nice sea view from the room, spacious room, however, room amenities are quite old, but doesn't affect me much. There are quite a number of cafes / restaurants/convenience shop nearby. Good to stay here if you like the sea view and driving.

View is decent and service is great. The staff will leave a bag with clean towels and water if you do not want room service. GS25 just downstairs, and CU a walk away. No laundry services on site but there’s a self-service laundromat just a 4 mins walk away. Laundry costs abt 10k and detergent is provided. But the hotel listing included a swimming pool which we were excited for, only for the pool to be empty.

The gym they advertise feels like it hasn’t been updated in decades. The only piece of weighted equipment was broken, and oddly enough, the gym shares the same space as the billiard tables, something you can actually spot if you zoom in on their photos here on Trip.com. Not exactly the workout atmosphere you’d hope for. The treadmill was the only functional highlight, though honestly, a run outside is far more enjoyable. Beyond that, the hotel itself feels like a time capsule from the 80s. It might have been impressive back then, but maintenance clearly hasn’t kept up. The carpets, especially in the rooms, are heavily stained and leave a poor impression. The latex pillows were another miss, uncomfortable, and once the bedding shifted, just unpleasant to sleep on. Overall, the place could be charming with some serious refurbishment, but as it stands, it’s outdated, poorly maintained, and doesn’t live up to its advertised standard. One last odd experience: one evening, we were asked to repark our car because it wasn’t perfectly centered within the marked box even though it was fully inside the lines. Meanwhile, several nearby cars were parked far less neatly without any comment. Strange rule enforcement, to say the least.

Great location! Fantastic view of the ocean. Great service provided by the reception. There was plenty of parking spaces which was great for us. Staff were very friendly and smiley. There is a convenient store located at the ground floor which was amazing. The downside was, we left a baby pillow inside the hotel room. But the hotel was unable to locate it. The cleaner most likely threw it away without informing anyone. This was quite upsetting as we reported the lost within 2 hours of checking out.
