Other accommodations often have check-in starting at 3 PM, but this one only starts at 1 PM, so I booked right after my flight. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and even offered me homemade madeleines. I booked last minute, so I didn't get an ocean view, but the room was clean and the service was great, so I had a great stay.

The overall decor has an 80s feel, and there's a musty smell? I'm not sure if that's accurate. The room lighting is also dim. If you like beach views, you should book this room. The beach is just across the street from the hotel. There's a convenience store nearby, a few hundred meters away, and restaurants are also a bit of a walk away. It's very quiet and dark at night. If you like a lively atmosphere, I suggest staying in the city center. There are more good restaurants there. Taking a taxi from the hotel to the city center for dinner and back will cost quite a bit. Staying in the city center allows you to book a ride to Udo Island to see the beach and explore the city at night.

The house is right by the sea 🏝️ The front desk guy gave us a thoughtful gift upon arrival ❤️ It's close to a convenience store and the airport, making taxis easy to get. Overall, it's a very cost-effective hotel 🏨
