Hotel Sweet Castle Jeju Hamdeok Reviews

Before our trip to Jeju Island, I browsed countless hotels on Trip.com and finally settled on this one. I originally booked a mountain view room, planning to upgrade to a sea view room upon arrival, but to my surprise, all the sea view rooms were already fully booked. I have to say, this hotel is indeed very popular, and for good reason. The pool is fantastic, and it's very close to Hamdeok Beach. The location is incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel's front desk service was exceptional. They provided a lot of help when we were looking for directions. There's a 7-Eleven in the lobby, and plenty of convenience stores and small eateries nearby. Right outside the hotel is the bus stop for the classic tourist route 201. For travelers on a budget, especially families, this hotel is undoubtedly a great option. It's highly recommended to book a sea view room in advance. The next morning, we specifically tried the local Korean buffet breakfast. The taste was very authentic and highly recommended. When we checked in, there were also many Korean guests, which probably means it's quite well-regarded even among locals. Oh, and one more thing: the room's bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the hotel offers excellent value for money.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with soft, comfortable bedding. The blackout curtains ensured I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, ample hot water, and toiletries with a pleasant, light fragrance, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location was also excellent, being close to the coast and offering convenient access to dining and attractions. The common areas were clean and well-maintained, the lobby had an elegant design, and the lounge area was very comfortable. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

The room was quite spacious and very clean. The only minor point is that it's a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. However, it offers excellent value for money and is definitely recommended! Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right on the first floor, which is super convenient for grabbing essentials.

The hotel is very close to Hamdeok Beach, with a bus stop right outside. The only minor drawback is the limited commercial amenities in the immediate vicinity. However, it truly excels in offering a fantastic balance of beautiful scenery and great value for money.

If you are looking a beach view this is not it. However, you can see the ocean at a distance. If you like to walk this is a great location with beautiful scenery along the way to the beach.

Place feels a little old and need to be upgraded. But everything else is good.

I thought it was pretty good! The ambiance was lovely. While it is by the sea, the view wasn't very distinct. But overall, it was still quite nice!

Hotel sweet castle hamdeok was very affordable and well located by Hamdeok beach. The room was spacious and clean but the furniture was a little outdated. Overall it was a great stay and would gladly stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was excellent, and the price was great too. My only minor disappointment was the lack of EV charging facilities. Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied!

Excellent stay! I loved how clean and quiet it was, and the views were beautiful. Would definitely go back!
