Sono Belle Jeju

The hotel's location is excellent. I booked a room with a sea view, and even though we arrived late at night, my daughter and I still went down to the beach. There were guys playing soccer on the sand and someone playing the guitar – the atmosphere was fantastic! The room itself seemed quite traditional; my daughter got to experience a Japanese-style tatami mat, which she loved. The hygiene was excellent, spotless, but the decor was very old. The bathroom's wet/dry separation wasn't ideal, but everything else was great.

The location is fantastic, and it's a great value for money. They even gave us instant noodles and discount coupons! This resort-like hotel is perfect for families. The facilities aren't brand new, but they are very clean. This was definitely the best hotel of our Jeju trip. Highly recommend!

We booked 5 rooms at once. The rooftop is absolutely the pinnacle of homestays; in the distance, the main peak is a dark green, and when it's shrouded in clouds and mist, it looks like it's wearing a soft, fluffy hat. Evening is the best time for viewing: the sunset paints the sky honey-orange, with layers of light spilling onto the mountain ridges, even the leaves turn a translucent gold. At night, you look up to a sky full of stars. It's so refreshing to breathe the fresh air and clear your mind here! The room facilities are complete, and there's even a mountain spring water bar and a mini-fridge. The bedding in the rooms is comfortable and clean, very cozy. All the staff are enthusiastic, making it a perfect place to relax!

This was my first time visiting Jeju, and I booked this hotel because it was near Hamdeok Beach and had a 5-star rating. While the hotel looked good from a distance, the facilities were quite old and outdated. I paid over 1500 for a night for a 52-square-meter room, but it felt more like 25 square meters at most. The bathroom was like something out of a budget hotel from 10 years ago—very old. The room was also bare-bones, lacking amenities. You definitely need to bring a power adapter for this hotel, and you're expected to take out your own trash. Service was almost non-existent. It's about a 200-meter walk to the beach. There are several smaller hotels nearby that might offer better value for money.

Overall, it's pretty good, and the location is excellent! The downside is that there was no room cleaning and no trash collection. They said they only clean after a three-day consecutive stay, which seems a bit unreasonable!

The room is spacious enough for 3-4 people and even has a small kitchenette, perfect for cooking instant noodles. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and bath towels, as they aren't provided. It's great for beach swimming, probably just over 100 meters in a straight line.

Exceeded expectations! It was very clean, spacious, and just a stone's throw from Hamdeok Beach. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel floors in Jeju Island are spotless, which might be related to Koreans' habit of wearing indoor slippers. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, a kitchen with utensils, so you can cook your own meals, and a balcony with a drying rack. The price was also affordable, truly fantastic! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
