Impressive Playa Granada Golf

4 stars really big resort. Food is basic but okay, the dessert selection should be expanded. The hotel is quite far from Malaga an hour out. However less than 20 minute walk to the beach with few beach club food places which are really nice and not expensive for food and drinks. The rooms are spacious and well kept. No complaints about the place at all. Nice activities for children to take part in. Overall great. There is an indoor pool where the spa is and do have to pay to use it just to bear in mind. There’s outdoor pools and also an adult only section to use the pool. Great place.

The accommodation was very nice and was cleaned daily. The hotel is miles from anywhere so was not really able to go out and about. The shopping centre was quoted at the reception as being 150 euros in a cab each way. The beach was not a beach you could sit on although it was a lovely view from the loungers at the hotel. Very few people ventured into the pools as they were extremely cold and balls, kids inflatables etc are forbidden. The food was passable but must say not the best I’ve had at an all inclusive.

Id not been away for over 10 years, this was the best holiday id been on, more locals in this area, was very quiet and peaceful, just what i needed. It is far from the airport so do get the transfer from airport to hotel and back it will save you alot of time and money. The food was amazing id not ate that much in a long time, it was constantly available and always fresh, only issue is id like more chicken less pork, there was alot of pork dishes. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond every time (miss you (Pablo and Adam) tequila!!! hahaha. i would go back any time and i am planning another trip very soon to the same place. Even after they had just had a major storm it was still impressive. This hotel caters to alot of golfers and bikers its a great place and id recommend it to you if you like some peace. not a place for people how want nights out or raves ect as Malaga city is over a hour away.

Nice beds, good value for money because of the facilities. Would not come back though. Worst breakfast I have had in any hotel outside of the US. Literally impossible to find anything at all that tasted reasonably OK. Not real coffee (Nescafe), super dry bread, sugary nectars instead of juices (in a land known for great orange juice)

Great hotel, mainly European guests, very few English which suited us. Immaculately clean everywhere, rooms, bars, pools restaurants. The whole property is incredibly well cared for. Its 4 star rating is well deserved. Friendly staff and enough choice in bars and restaurants to make the all inclusive option worthwhile. Remote location so hire car needed if you want to visit anywhere outside of the resort. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Firstly We left overall very happy with our 4 night stay this week , it’s a long review because I personally feel this hotel could be great and I am bored on my flight home , so had time to give it some thought. It’s ironic the difficult things to change like hotel structure/views/grounds /rooms are already good . It’s the food /drink and entertainment thats lacking. In addition there are not a lot of options near by to use instead if you don’t have a car. My husband found us a good reduction booking directly on the hotel website so we paid for a seafront suite and upgraded to the premier all inclusive . Aim of visit was to relax in the sunshine, as well as use it as a base to visit Granada one day with the option to play golf another as we are both golfers. Weather was kind which definitely helped us enjoy our stay. I emailed the hotel a few weeks before explaining ideally what we would ideally prefer for a room and was very pleased we got this. The complex is big , many balconies had only morning or afternoon sun and some seemed a fair trek from the limited amenities. Although not first row of buildings at the sea front and we paid seafront ( was second row ) we were still very happy with our room. 3205 so thank you who ever thought to give us this room. It suited us very well. 1 small balcony off the separate sitting area had a table and 2 chairs & a very nice clear sea view of the pretty swing / wedding stand , beach area with the other balcony off the bedroom had 2 sun loungers ( very comfy but needed re covering as plastic coating split in places ) It had a-nice view when you stood up - roof tops otherwise but important for me , it had sun from around 10am til sunset - in fact from it we could see 95% of the sun dip into sea , obscured by land at the very last dip. Saw some lovely sunsets . It was overall a very comfortable set of rooms .2 Tvs which had Netflix when on satellite mode. Position Was quiet, could hear the sea on the balconies yet close to their pools/ bar. The Gardens of this hotel are lovely. With plenty of sun beds around all of its 3 good sized pools ( shame 1 not partly heated as they were v cold when you first got in) As others say the beach is small & pebbly but you can access the sea easily enough ( although goes deep quickly and strong currents possible so not child friendly) There are lots of sun-beds and wooden shaded umbrellas in the garden area by the sea edge Allowing lovely views , with its loud wave sounds , making it a very nice area to be. On the Sunday when we arrived and the kiosks drink hut was open, this area was great . We overall enjoyed the quality of the buffet food. However we love fish and there were always several fish options for lunch and dinner. . Wine ( red and white and sangria )we felt was ok considering it was “ on tap” , never a great sign. The Rose we didn’t like. The glasses of Cava were pleasant, but not available in the dining room and rare
