Of the several Santika Premieres I have stayed at, this Santika Premier Jogja is the worst, in my personal opinion, the receptionist is not friendly, her face is flat, she is stingy with a smile, especially since I have lived in Jogja for many years, this is the first time I am disappointed, every year I definitely go on holiday to Jogja because the people are very welcoming, but this is The hospitality is different from other hotels that I have stayed at, perhaps the Tentrem, Hyatt, Melia Purosani, Grand Ambarukmo, Artotel Suite Bianti, Novotel Suite and other 5 star hotels in Jogja that I have stayed at are of a different class, I understand, but compared to 4 stars which are equivalent In Jogja, Swissbell, Jogjaplaza, Novotel, even Ibis class, in my opinion the hospitality, especially at the reception, needs a lot of improvement, the hospitality service, especially at the reception and in the restaurant, the food is also very standard compared to other Santika Premieres where the food is abundant and tastes good, but here for me personally it tastes good In my opinion, it was quite disappointing, plus the waiter there was also the same as the one at the reception, it was different from the service at any Santika Premier, room 214 which I stayed in was also a bit scary at night, maybe because the old hotel didn't have too many guests at the weekend, my arrival was Saturday to Monday, luckily it was only 2 nights for transit before a flight abroad, the only plus point is that the door opener is quite friendly and the housekeeping and security officers are quite helpful, another thing that makes you in a bad mood is that usually in some Santika Premieres you can have late check out until 15.00 WIB, at least 14.00 WIB here, don't expect he said if it's later than 13.00 WIB you will be charged, it's better to check out at 10.00 WIB, check out straight to the El Royale Malioboro Hotel at 10.30 WIB, you can check in early, you can rest and the service is much different from the moment you arrive, the receptionist is already happy, we as guests are very happy with the friendliness of their service is typical of Jogja people which always makes me miss you... finally I think if I go to Jogja again I will definitely not choose this hotel again as a place to rest

I stayed June 3rd 2023, this hotel near Tugu Train Station. Only 10 minutes walk from exit gate. The employees have great hospitality. Thank you Salma has fulfill my request for room 705. The room was clean, suggest need intense in sofa cause i found stain. The breakfast so so, need improve for bihun goreng, too salty for me. I ordered room service 3 menu, but the rice for the tengkleng was not soft (bit hard), maybe Chef need check regularly before serving to the guest. And please maybe you can skip regulation for calling the guest in the room 1 hour before check-out. That's annoying for guest like me who frequently stayed many hotel around Indonesia & other countries. But If should, maybe you can call at maximum check out time (12.00 noon)

We booked 2 connecting rooms. We were really surprised with the size of the room. The twin beds were two queen size bed. The sofa was big as well. Their twin bedroom is more than enough to accommodate 5 people. Their king size bedroom was also spacious and comfortable. However, their bathroom seemed to have some issues. On our king size bedroom, the water in the toilet was running all the time. We called their maintenance team and they tried to fix it but it didn't work. It was quite a sound at a quiet night. On the other room, the water faucet at the sink was very wobbly. It was also a mystery to us on how to turn the rain shower since the knob couldn't be pushed or pulled. Their breakfast tasted good. It was a standard hotel breakfast with some traditional drink and food. We loved their pudding though as my daughter could finish two puddings at once. Their room service menu was very cheap and tasted quite good. But it took some phone calls to get the food delivered to our room. Their parking space had very limited space. So it might be impossible to park when the hotel is at its full capacity. Unfortunately, we didn't try other hotel facilities so we couldn't comment on that. As for its location, this hotel is near Tugu monument. There are a market and small cafes nearby. Overall, the value of money for their hotel room is very good. We hope they can maintain the condition of their rooms and bathrooms.

Breakfast has a wide range of variety and good. Excellent customer service from the hotel staff who are always helpful and smiley.

The hotel is conveniently located close to a nice square with cafes and good local restaurants. The overall facilities are well taken care of and the pool is freshly located in the center of the hotel. The food was also nice and at a good price. Most of the tour services are able to pick you up from this location which makes it very convenient when exploring the city.

Wow, I had an amazing dining experience at the hotel's restaurant! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We have booked the hotel from booking.com and I want to manage booking by call the property, guess what, the person (male) rejected my call TWICE after some conversation. And theen… since I can not manage the booking to add one more day ahead, I have to booked for one day more, unfortunately I forgot to choose “breakfast included”. first day’s breakfast (I booked for 3 days stay), the female employee at FnB told me that my booking did not include the breakfast package. Then I show her the information that if I still want to have a breakfast I have to pay IDR 85.000. She acknowledge that. I also willing to pay. What happen next is.. when I choose the food and put everything on the table and start to eat, another female employee came to me and TELL ME THE PRICE for additional bfast. Why can she just wait until I finish to have my bfast ? Or she can just ask me when I leave the restaurant ( the desk is just in front of the door and every guest will pass her). Really, the manager should teach the employee how to handle the customer in a good way and in a good manner.
