B&B Plitvice Holiday Lodge

What an amazing find this was. It is advertised as a B&B but it is more like an small hotel. It has 8 rooms and Nina (the owner) or Lily (her friend) stay in turn in the basement apartment whilst they are working. Nothing is too much bother for them and they are so friendly and helpful. The standard of the accommodation is amazing clean and modern and beautifully decorated. Most rooms are in the main building with just one separate lodge in the garden. We had 3 nights in the main building and absolutely loved it. If you want to eat in on an evening you need to let them know in advance. We ate in on our last night and wished we’d done it too on the other 2 nights, as the home cooked food was excellent and good value. There is another restaurant and a burger/ pizza bar within easy walking distance if you was to eat out. Breakfast was lovely too with plenty of choice. We were in a hire car and it is about 4km to Plitvice entrance 2 car park. I think there is a bus along the main road if you don’t have a car. Highly recommended, and my favourite accommodation during my trip to Croatia.

Such a cute little hotel. Loved the accommodations: everything was brand new: very clean, unassuming but, modern, attention to detail, comfortable, traditional touches in the decor here and there that complemented the modern. Our bedroom was ample. We had dinner there as well that Nina prepared for us. (Yummy!) As well as a fantastic breakfast spread (plenty of choices. The dining room is very cute with a small fireplace, the whole place is very charming. Nina also prepared lunch bags for us to take to the park for our excursion and gave us pointers as to what was the best route to explore, given our preference/time/etc. She was fantastic! Very accommodating and eager to please. Also of note, you are so close to the park and she can arrange a taxi pick up/drop off to/from the park. Loved the place.

We stayed here for 1 night while visiting the Plitvice National Park. In hindsight we would have loved to stayed for another. The lodge property was very well maintained and very relaxing - a lot of love and attention to detail. Both breakfast and dinner was offered (dinner not included) - and the food was amazing. We were very well looked after - special thanks to the lodge manager Lily who made us feel extremely welcomed (including making our scrumptious dinner). Very special kind of countryside, genuine hospitality that you don’t experience elsewhere ❤️

Excellent host (Nina) with a smile all the time! Great breakfast (large choice), we had an excellent dinner and bought a tasty lunch package for the trip to the Plitvice lakes. Nina gave us some good advices for the visit to the Plitvice lakes where we could avoir the crowded mass of tourists (sorry, we are touristes as well 😉). Excellent place to stay! 2 minutes by car of entrance 2. Do not hesitate…

This is a wonderful small lodge only 10 minutes' drive from the National Park entrance. The rooms are modern, updated, large and comfortable and well-furnished. The breakfast was superb, with excellent eggs, home-made jams, breads and a variety of cheeses and pastries. Nina was very friendly and helpful.

Top quality lodge where founder Nina, a smart, friendly and beautiful entrepreneur, welcomes guests with heart in her super clean and comfortable place and pretty garden including a delicious hearty breakfast with Nina's own oven-fresh bread. Can't think of a better homy accommodation near the stunning park.
