"My family really loved it! The kids' room was beautiful and much bigger than we expected. For a family of four, it was great value for money! The app is actually pretty good and improves operational efficiency. The stream water was quite yellow though, otherwise, it would have been perfect! There was also a very rude woman while we were swimming; to save money, she didn't buy a swim cap for her child and ignored the staff's warnings, insisting on getting into the water... The hotel should blacklist people like that."

"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

"The hotel is beautiful, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sun provide excellent natural light. You can sit by the window and enjoy the sun around noon. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, as a robot can deliver it directly to your room. On the day we checked in, the sun was lovely, and we wanted to stroll by the river. The front desk staff patiently and carefully helped us with directions. It's very easy to get from the hotel to the river; you can go directly via the underground parking garage. It was a very satisfying stay."

"This is my second time staying at your hotel. The scorching summer is the best time to go to Jiande where the temperature is 17°C for a summer vacation. The booked room is right next to the river, and you can see the clear Xin'an River flowing slowly from the room. Sitting in the room and drinking tea, you can watch the beautiful mountains and clear waters, the rolling clouds and the relaxing clouds, which is very pleasant. The room design is full of Jiangnan charm, spacious and bright. The service in the hotel is very pleasant. Fresh fruits are delivered every day. The waiters are always smiling when I see them. Especially the sister He Yuanyuan at the front desk is warm and kind. The service is attentive and meticulous. It makes me feel like I am at home. The hotel is in a good location, and it is also very convenient to go to the riverside to enjoy the cool weather. There are many delicious little restaurants nearby. If you go there, be sure to order the Jiande-style fish head stew in white soup. The hotel has a lot of free parking spaces, suitable for self-driving travel. "First off, there was a strange, unpleasant smell everywhere, from the hallways to the room itself. The room especially had a musty odor, I'm not sure where it was coming from. Second, the service was quite bizarre. I specifically booked a queen room with a window, but when I got to the front desk, they said there were no rooms available. Apparently, long-term guests transferred from another hotel had taken them all. Someone who seemed like the owner then asked me if I'd be willing to compromise and stay in a windowless room for one night. What kind of hotel makes guests compromise? Don't they usually offer an upgrade to make up for it? They ended up putting me in a room on the lower floor, right above a shop with a blaring loudspeaker. Ugh… the experience was truly awful."
