"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

The girl at the front desk is warm and attentive, and the service is thoughtful. She also upgraded the room for free, which makes me feel at home. The most praiseworthy thing is the hotel's breakfast, but it's a pity that I forgot to take pictures. Breakfast is from 7 to 9:30, and the variety is quite rich. There are three or four small cold dishes, peanuts, fried eggs, milk, soy milk, white rice porridge, pumpkin porridge, hot dishes include fried celery with dried tofu and fried bean sprouts, and the staple food is small steamed bread, small steamed buns, and Jiande specialty tofu buns. The tofu buns are really worth recommending, especially at breakfast. The aunt said that the tofu buns are tofu bought in the morning, wrapped and steamed, and they taste really warm! Thank you to the aunts who work hard for the guests' breakfast, thank you! A very recommended hotel, with a high cost performance, really good!"

"The courtyard was quite nice; we played cards by the river for a while. There was a walking path nearby where you could go for a stroll. In the evening, an older man came along. At first, I was amazed at how quickly he could catch a fish after casting his line. After a few times, I realized he wasn't fishing; he was hooking fish by the tail! He'd sneakily hook a fish by the tail and pull it up. He rode his electric scooter back and forth, searching for schools of fish, catching one fish after another with each hook. I had been praising him for his skill, but I was speechless."

"This hotel perfectly embodies the feeling of a Jiangnan water town with Huizhou-style architecture, complete with a pool, hot springs, a lake, and traditional black tiles and white walls. The staff are very welcoming, and the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the ancient city wall with convenient parking right outside. Definitely a great choice, no disappointments here. A special shout-out to our diving instructor, Feifei, for her detailed explanations and professional service, and for taking so many diving videos for us. The light meals in the hotel lobby and the breakfast buffet were quite good too. Plus, we got to witness the mesmerizing white sand mist we'd been dreaming of, all without even leaving the hotel!"

"The service is very good. The arrival time is confirmed in advance. Booked a family suite and upgraded to a riverside suite for free. The view is really good. It is quiet and comfortable. The occasional green locomotive echoes on the other side of the river. The sense of time is very strong. There are also many people who take a hot spring bath in the rain. I felt the Xin'an River view, Jiande style and Yiman service. Especially tasted the stick fish in Yiman. It was delicious. Yiman is a relatively new hotel with new facilities."

"The newly opened B&B in 2023 is very clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The key is that it is a pet-friendly hotel. I give it a thumbs up. The room is fully equipped with floor heating, refrigerator, disinfection cabinet and dehumidifier. It can also control the lights and curtains by voice, which is very convenient. There is also a beautiful dragon blood tree in the room, which shows that the owner is very tasteful. There is a super large swimming pool at the door of the room. I heard that there will be bonfires and fireworks at night when the weather is good. Unfortunately, it was a cold and rainy day during my stay. I look forward to experiencing it again when the weather is warmer. Afternoon tea is also provided when you check in, which is very considerate. There is a scenic parking lot at the door of the B&B, and parking is very convenient."

"I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!"
