The reception staff was very welcoming and was waiting for my arrival. Assisted with my luggage from the car, and also provided a pair of gloves. Amenities were decent. Importantly, the hot water was very readily accessible.

Good Value. Family owned. 300m from East Gate of Fanjing Mountain. They also have a washing machine which was very helpful. Their doors are never closed (24/7 open) but there is not always someone at the desk so checking out was a bit confusing.

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.

The room was nice and the service was quite good. Within walking distance to the main attractions. It was nice to have a bath to relax.

The hardware facilities are very high-end, including smart toilets, central air conditioning, electric sky screens, projectors, and good bath water. However, the hygiene was really average. There were bugs in the room. The bathroom slippers were so dark that I couldn't use them at all. There was also a hair tie left by a previous passenger in the bathroom. It felt like they hadn't been carefully packed away. There is not enough roll paper in the toilet. Two people stay for one night and there is not enough toilet paper. It is too stingy. The height of the sink is too unfriendly for girls. All in all, it's not worth the money...
