This charming homestay is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a quick 2-minute walk from the main Lianian Street. My friends and I loved the beautiful courtyard and traditional architecture — it really captured the local character of Jianshui.
We only stayed one night, right after the Golden Week holidays, and were pleasantly surprised that the staff could arrange spacious rooms for us on the same second floor (I’d recommend choosing the second floor over the first). The staff were friendly and very responsive to our questions and requests.
One thing to note: because it’s designed in a traditional courtyard style, you can hear other guests talking if you leave your windows open — but that’s part of the authentic atmosphere!

Very centric location, yet quiet. Large room. Very nice helpful and friendly service. Family running the house is lovely. Nice pleasant patio. Phone signal is weak, but there is wifi and it’s easy to connect. Bathroom lighting could improve, but it was fine. Shower clogs a bit.

This place was one of the best places I’ve ever been!
Central, clean and just beautiful, I was impressed by the kindness of the owner and his family.
I will return for sure and I hardly recommend it to who wants to go visiting Jainshui.

What a great place! Laurence was really kind! We felt so welcome here. We had dinner with his friends and family throughout our stay with him. We also got an upgrade to a really big room for free! Recommended stay. 🙏🏻

The hotel is located right next to the old town. The hotel is an old traditional house, which makes our experience unique. The host speaks English , and was very kind and helped us whenever they can. The room was clean and tidy.
