The beds are very thin. The room basic. The location is optimal. The guy is cool. There is a guitar and black tea.

Nice and comfortable place close to bus stops and to the ancient town. Nice owner as well who gave us an upgrade (bigger room) for free. Really appreciated the complimentary bottles of water everyday.
The negative side was the general cleanliness of the room and the bathroom, it could be way better with no much effort.

When I arrived at the place, I called the boss and he received me with water and fruit. The entrance is not apparent at first sight, but he speaks English so it was easy to find him. He also invited me for tea, but I was too tired. He directed me to my room that also had lockers and a small table. The location is very convenient, just in front of the west gate to the old town. The beds are old and move a lot, but they are enough to pass one night or two.

I had a great time in Jianshui, the owner of the hostel did make my stay even more special, he helped me in many ways, I am beyond grateful he could help me out to get a SIM card and all the app struggles that you can face traveling to China from abroad .
I highly recommend to stay with him for dinner or any meal, food was amazing and I felt like visiting friends rather than staying at a hostel. There’s a nice rooftop where you can also use the washing machine and dry your clothes.
I will definitely come back!

I was traveling alone and for me was it a perfect fit. Xuhui was very friendly and welcoming, he toke time and showed me around. I highly recommend to book here and get to know Xuhui, specially for international travelers. Great experience. Thank you

旅舍位於古城西門，附近19路公汽直通團山民居景區和十七孔橋，從旅舍走到西門古井也就十來分鐘，老闆對住客熱情，感覺挺好的。
