Jianshui Yanqi Lake Hotel

The hotel environment is quite good. We booked a courtyard room and the service was nice. It's located just outside the old town.

Exceeded all my expectations! I never thought such a wonderful hotel could exist in a small place like Jianshui. It's clean, hygienic, and has a beautiful Song-dynasty aesthetic. The central courtyard's pond is especially enchanting when it rains. The breakfast was excellent too!

Originally, we chose another hotel, but my child found the traditional Chinese style a bit too oppressive, so we switched to Yunqi Lake. It also saved us quite a bit of money. Since Jianshui is a small city, I didn't have high expectations for the hotel, just hoping it would be clean. But Yunqi Lake absolutely exceeded them! The environment is beautiful, and we stayed in a duplex family room. It was very clean, and unlike many Vietnamese-style hotels, the upstairs didn't have those typical issues, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Most importantly, the hotel service was incredibly enthusiastic. The front desk staff, Xiao Liao, greeted us warmly and provided very thoughtful service. The concierge was also fantastic, carrying our luggage to the room, explaining all the facilities, and even giving us several small perks for entertainment. If our itinerary hadn't already been set, we would have loved to extend our stay for another night.

The hotel room's decor is stylish, and the facilities are high quality, especially the windows, which are incredibly soundproof. Even though there's an amusement park outside, the room is completely quiet once the windows are closed. The lights on the bedside switch panel are motion-activated, so they're not blinding at night. They light up when you raise your hand, making it easy to see which switch to use – the attention to detail is excellent. The front desk service was also very good; Xiaozhang and Xiaoping, who checked me in, were both very welcoming. The only downside was the parking security. We were driving a B-type RV, which couldn't fit in the underground parking, so we parked in the hotel's outdoor lot. In the evening, while we were having tea in the RV, a security guard came directly to our door and knocked, telling us to move. The parking lot was quite empty at the time, so parking wasn't an issue. The security guard clearly had something against RVs. He only left after we told him we were hotel guests. I'm not sure if this was his personal behavior or if the hotel trained him this way, but there's no need to treat all RVs like a plague. I understand his job, but to knock on the door and shout when someone isn't putting anything outside and the car door is closed, and then target their vehicle in an empty parking lot, seems quite malicious. I think the hotel handled this aspect very poorly.

A very comfortable hotel with excellent service, especially from Xiao Zhang and Xiao Ping who were incredibly enthusiastic. The morning breakfast performance captivated the children, and the complimentary souvenir was quite unique.

The room and breakfast were decent, nothing spectacular. However, the ground floor courtyard rooms have a design flaw: when it rains, water splashes off the dividing wall onto you, making it impossible to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the rain. The service, though, was excellent! The security guard, and the front desk staff, Zhang and Zhu, were all very proactive and enthusiastic. The ladies in the breakfast department were also very polite!

This is the best hotel in Jianshui! The breakfast spread was fantastic, parking was easy, and the hotel environment was lovely. All the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. We even happened to be there for the Dragon Boat Festival, and the hotel gave us a lot of thoughtfully prepared gifts.

Service: Xiao Xie, who grilled the tofu, and Master Bao, who helped with our luggage, were both incredibly enthusiastic. The overall experience was excellent. Facilities: It's hard to find a hotel like this in Jianshui. Environment: The environment is great! Very green.

The service was excellent! All the staff were incredibly attentive. When I asked questions, they leaned in to listen carefully and genuinely tried to help me solve any issues. For two consecutive nights, the housekeeping staff (Xueyue and another sister whose name I didn't catch) even helped make up the sofa bed. Xiao Ping and Xiao Kong at the front desk were always ready to assist with any request! When I left, Master Xiao Bao proactively helped with my luggage! The service far surpassed that of the Hilton Fuxian Lake. Keep up the great work! I will definitely be back!
