The guesthouse had a nice environment, all in a solid wood style. It's been open for quite a while, but because of that, the rooms didn't have any unpleasant smells. The owners and their parents were very welcoming. What impressed me most was the owner's father riding his bike to fetch water; the well in Jianshui had plenty of water, and the water was very sweet. We asked the owner for a lot of water to drink! 🤣 The alleyway in front of the guesthouse was very cool to sit in! The triple room was quite spacious, but it was a little warm because it was on the top floor, but there was air conditioning. Everything else was great! 👍

It was a surprise for this trip! The whole inn and room are very clean, even the wooden floor is clean, the baby likes to run around barefoot, it is not too friendly! The boss is an i person who likes to travel by car. There are few words but there are questions and answers. I will recommend the authentic delicious food in the ancient city. The proprietress is very gentle and attentive. The location of the inn is also very convenient, just at the back door of Zhujia Garden, you can walk to various attractions in the ancient city. If you are afraid of tired, you can also take a battery car for five yuan in the ancient city. Friends who come to Jianshui to play will recommend this one by head!

Impossible to find a better place in Jianshui. The rooms are located inside a historic stone and wood building that has been renovated respecting the culture of the place, creating very large rooms, in style, equipped with all possible technological comforts. The owner, Lawrence, speaks perfect English (a very rare thing to find in Jiuanshui), is a highly cultured person and can help you solve any type of problem as well as accompanying you on visits to the surroundings, making you enter the heart of Yunnan. It is the best place I have stayed in Yunnan, without a doubt. In this place I left my heart, respect and affection for Lawrence and all the staff.

The room is slightly smaller, but the bathroom is large. I particularly like the ancient charm of the courtyard. The beautiful flowers and plants decorate the courtyard beautifully. It is a good place to drink tea and chat. The location is very good, next to Zhu Family Garden, easy to find, and it is convenient to walk to other attractions such as the Confucian Temple and Lin'an Prefecture Office. Jianshui Ancient Town is worth visiting and the inn is cost-effective.

From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I knew I made the right choice. The environment is quiet, the design is full, and the service is very considerate. The room is very close to Jianshui Confucian Temple, Lin'an Prefecture, Examination Hall, and Zhu Family Garden. There is a restaurant in the yard where you can eat, which is quite convenient. The house is a little small, but it is acceptable in the ancient city.

Le ménage est proposé tous les jours et l’hébergement met à disposition une machine à laver. Ce que nous avons le plus adoré c’est l’hospitalité de notre hôte qui nous a permit de découvrir Jianshui et qui nous a aidé dans toutes nos recherches de transports. We had a great stay at his place. The location couldn't be better, tucked away in a small alley but right in the heart of the ancient town. The owners are very friendly, always greeting us with a warm smile. The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable! I'll choose the same hotel again next time I come to Jianshui!

It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special. This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. Several trips, ten rooms we booked nine, quite packaged the hotel, very happy to book the first line of days, the location is very good, less than 5 minutes walk from the ancient city parking lot, very close to the ancient city, the proprietress is warm and hospitable, not only introduce us to various attractions, good reputation restaurants, I was also enthusiastic to book the ticket for the Jianshui train for us. Although I didn't book it due to the peak season, the warm service of the proprietress was moving. At night, I took the initiative to bake tofu for us and took out homemade hot sauce. The taste was excellent, N times better than the ancient city. Great! The hotel's facilities are well-equipped, there are large and small halls downstairs, and there is a rest tea room upstairs. The environment is comfortable, clean and hygienic. It is a very NICE experience. There is a chance to continue living next time!
