I recently stayed at Vienna Hotel Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Hotel and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a valued guest.
Arrived around 8.30pm on 26/10 and was immediately served w hot tea to keep ourselves warmed. Checking in was a breeze and I was very impressed with the corner table with thoughtful items for you to take in case you have forgotten to bring along during your travel.
We want to express our appreciation towards the lady staff 007, who helped us to unload the heavy luggages from our car onto the luggage trolley and even brought up to our rooms personally.
The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. Toilet seat is always warmed up for the cold weather. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in.
Breakfast was flavorful and beautifully presented. The dining area was clean and comfortable.
The location was ideal, 1/2 an hour to airport and 20mins to a local mall making it easy to explore the area.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality made this a memorable trip. I highly recommend Vienna Hotel Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and look forward to returning in the future.

CChingiz NurgalievThe stay at the hotel was great. The breakfast is varied, but the food is not rich. Instead of meat, there is meat broth or filling with a small amount of meat. Apparently, there are problems with food in China. I flew from hot Bangkok, the temperature in the room was shocking, 16 degrees. Because of the stone floors and walls, the room warmed up for 12 hours to 25 degrees. The room itself is gorgeous.

The hotel is in the airport complex, 5 minutes walk to Airport. However , Google map will not give you detailed location.
Clean and new hotel. Not much facilities, no coffee in room only 2 tea bags .

Not much choices in the eateries in airport.

李李美莲Only 10-15 minutes away from Tianfu international Airport and you can request pick up and drop off for free. The driver was really nice and recommended us places to eat. The service at the counter was also very welcoming and helped us plan our return trip to the airport. The only thing I have to say is the windows were a bit broken and dirty and you could hear everything outside which made it a bit hard to sleep. The bathroom is a wet bath with a squatting toilet. If you are not used to this kind of toilet, I would recommend looking for something else. Otherwise very satisfied, perfect place to wait for a transfer flight.

GGuest UserThis place was very clean and professional. I was surprised to get such a good place for the price I paid. The staff were very helpful and were good at English. I appreciated the free shuttle to the airport in the morning when I left. There may have been a way to get a free pickup from the airport too, but I didn’t figure that out in time, and I just called a Didi (Uber-like system in China).
Before this I had stayed at several other budget hotels in a different part of the China, and even at roughly the same price, they were not half as good as this one. So I was really impressed with this place. The room was very clean and spacious and comfortable.
The only reason I took one star off for Amenities was because there was no mini-fridge and no closet, though there was a unenclosed place to hang clothes. I liked the comfortable chair and footstool by the window with its own little table. I relaxed in that for a while, drinking the provided tea. The desk was helpful too.

GGuest UserBooked this place for an overnight stay in between transit, it serves its purpose. Free airport pickup (call the hotel upon arrival, but do note they might pick up other passengers going to other hotels so if you're in a big rush, better to book your own DiDi, it's not expensive), nothing to complain about room wise. In the morning there's free airport drop-off as well, just provide your flight details and they will arrange a time to pick you up.
Tip - you might want to give yourself a bit more buffer if you're new to China or the domestic airport, they picked me up 1.5 hrs before my flight and I had barely an hour left by the time I got to the airport. Had to cut the check-in queue otherwise I'd have missed my flight. Ask them to pick you up at least 2 hrs before, the queue at the bag drop counter is rather long! Then there's the queue at the immigration and security areas as well... and all this includes me being able to speak and read Chinese. Can't imagine how much more harrowing it'd have been for someone who can't navigate the language!

GGuest UserThe time at the hotel was excellent. Picked up at the airport, then a most comfortable room with bathroom. Wang Hai Tao was exceptional at the reception; he looked after me very well. He was the most kind organising my trip back to the Airport and even my evening meal. Although Wang could speak little or no English, he was always able to help. HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.

AAnonymous UserFlight arrived around midnight and the free airport pickup was still available. They do not have a WeChat number to call. I do not have a local number so I asked a customer service desk in TFU airport to help me to call the hotel pickup and get the vehicle number. The one that picked me up was 川A DM7885. Great to have this service available from the hotel. They also pick up other passengers from other hotels before dropping us off.
Location is good, plenty of food options available until 2am (can choose either right beside the hotel or walk 10 minutes for even more food choices). It used to be a small farming town that got transformed into many hotels to cater to the TFU airport transit passengers.
Service staff at night was friendly and helpful, even helping me to plan my transport for the next day. However dealing with the morning shift staff was somewhat unpleasant, since they asked me to cancel my hotel booking in Chengdu because they were trying to persuade me to sign up to their vacation package. Not a good way to do business.
The room was basic. Hot water shower in my room was inconsistent, had to wait a long time to get warm water (not hot). The water kettle was leaking a bit when boiling water, which I hope they've already replaced. The corridor lights are sensor operated, and it looks dark until you start walking. The courtyard is nice but also not as fancy as the photos.
Overall ok for just 1 night stay.
