Bedroom no air cond no heating, too cold at night, can't sleep whole night. And cigarette smell come into the room

The location is excellent, it’s super close to the scenic area and even though it is a bit out of town it’s easy to reach by public transport. It also has a very nice and affordable restaurant in walking distance. Unfortunately we had some (apparently planned) power outages during our stay but the staff was very much engaged in providing information, powerbanks and candles. The service is really good.

This little inn is conveniently located right by the Great Wall. The owner of the hotel Mr Zhang is a friendly guy and gave us a lift twice and lots of helpful information. The price fluctuates depending on popularity so it was slightly higher for the night we stayed in but the customer service was excellent and worth the money. The only issue I had was that people were lighting fireworks rightoutside on the pavement and it wasn't the most safest of routes to walk back to the hotel hut it wasn't something the hotel could control. For food there is a nice family-run halal restaurant practically next door and a small grocery shop selling soft drinks and bare necessities. 很热心的老板。

Not much to do around except for the scenic area. Lots of construction when I went. No taxis wants to come to the hotel cause it’s so far. Average overall. Room is pretty small but comfortable. I can’t stand the disposable towels tho. How hard is it to put real towels in hotel rooms?!

I stayed only one night here. This hotel is really clean and the pictures accurate. It seems that the room has been renovated recently, it is nice really practical. You can reach the castle (the fort) easily by walking. Even though the owner doesn't speak English, with a translation App we managed to understand eachother. He drop me off at the train station early morning. I recommend this hotel. This comment has been written by a French traveller. Je suis resté ici une seule nuit. Cet hôtel est vraiment propre et les photos correspondent bien. Il semblerait que la chambre ait été rénovée récemment, et elle est vraiment mignonne et pratique. Il est facile de rejoindre le fort à pied. Bien que le propriétaire ne parle pas anglais, il est aisé d'échanger avec lui grâce à une application de traduction. Il m'a déposé à la gare de bon matin, ce qui fut très pratique. C'est une personne très serviable. Je recommande cet hôtel. Ce commentaire a été écrit par un voyageur français.

Wery cozy and welcoming place. The place is really clost to the fortres, you can go by walk. The guys is very friendly.

We loved this place, it is 10 mins walk from the main fort, the rooms are comfortable and Mr Zhang Jian Hua the owner is very helpful. He helped us right the way through our three day stay and made sure we did not miss anything. Even took out to his favourite restaurant one night to try some local food.
