Jilin Songhua Lake New Story Hot Spring Suite Hotel

We booked the suite with a private dry sauna this time, and it totally exceeded our expectations! After a day of skiing, soaking in the private hot spring and then spending some time in the sauna instantly wiped away all our fatigue—it was just so relaxing and rejuvenating. The room is huge, feeling very spacious even for our family of three. It's especially great for family trips with kids, making the stay super comfortable and easy. Truly feel like we struck gold with this find, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Located within the Songhuahu Resort area, it's very convenient. There's a supermarket, bar, KTV, and gym on the -1 floor, so the facilities are excellent. The room is fantastic; this suite is perfect for a family. It has a balcony and fresh air. Many of the in-room amenities are from Xiaomi, making them very user-friendly.

Poor soundproofing and low value for money. You can hear every word spoken upstairs downstairs. It's more like a budget motel.

The room was more like a home-stay, and overall, it was good value for the price. The location is also decent, surrounded by other hotels, so it depends on your needs. Anyway, it's very close to China Travel Songhua Lake Resort, so you can go without a car. One thing I highly recommend is to check out the 'Er Liang Baozi' (steamed bun) shop nearby – their buns are super delicious! 😍

The in-room sauna is absolutely amazing! With the weather being a bit chilly this season, coming back from hiking and boating and being able to sauna and bathe right in the room was just perfect and so convenient. The service was also incredibly thoughtful and detailed. Completely satisfied with the whole experience.

The location, service, and ambiance are all great. The cleanliness is comparable to a standard hotel, but the carpet in the hallway had a bit of an odor and could be improved. The soundproofing was a bit poor.

Room Amenities: The two-bedroom apartment is perfect for families, featuring two bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom. The decor is exquisite, and the facilities are complete and new. The room uses a keyless entry system; you simply add the host on WeChat to receive the code, which is very convenient as you don't need a physical card. The only issue is the poor soundproofing of the apartment building; you can hear firecrackers and fireworks outside, as well as loud conversations from next door. Location & Transportation: The apartment is located in Qingshan Apartment Phase 3, right near the ski resort. The hotel offers shuttle service to the ski slopes (though it still requires a short walk). There's a supermarket, bar, and ski rental shop all on the B1 level. Walking to the ski resort takes about 10 minutes, so it's a bit of a distance. Breakfast: The variety isn't extensive, but it's enough to fill you up before hitting the slopes for a full day of skiing. Initially, I booked for three nights, but the snow melted due to warm weather, so we only skied for two days. Besides skiing, there isn't much else to do in the area. Plus, with bad weather forecasted for the sixth day of the ***** New Year, we ended up wasting one night's booking and returned home early.

The owner upgraded my room, which was really nice of them! Highly recommend. The steamed bun shop across the street is also delicious.

First off, the pick-up and drop-off service was incredibly convenient for getting to the ski resort, dinner, and massages. Before I arrived, I contacted the owner to request a higher floor, and to my surprise, they even upgraded my room type! It was perfect because my child could have their own separate room. The staff recommended some great local dishes like 'Iron Pot Stew,' hotpot, and BBQ, all of which were delicious. Plus, you can see the ski resort from the room's balcony. Definitely recommend!
