The room is very big, with many beds, but the washroom is very small. There is no table or chair in the room, which is very inconvenient. There is only a small refrigerator and a kettle. The socket is only available to one guest.
The worst thing is the sound insulation! You can hear the conversation next door clearly, just like talking in your ear.
When the next door is snoring, you can hear it like thunder.
If the lights and exhaust fan are on in the washroom next door, it will be like there is a plane circling overhead in the room.
For ordinary people, don't even think about falling asleep all night! Anyone who wants to have a good sleep, please be very careful!!!

Budget friendly accommodation just outside Jindabyne, and a short drive the the ski fields. Rooms are basic, however clean and suitable for the needs required. This is not a resort, however a good base for ski-ing both at perisher and thredbo. Buffet dinner was OK for price with a good range of food at a reasonable price. Bar area was large but souless. Pizza shop on site was closed due to lack of staff for the whole week..this was disappointing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

First room smelt of mould. Next room looks like someone was sick on the floor next to the bed with a vane cleanup attempt. The roof is squeaking in the wind. I asked for a refund but they refused as it’s on the terms and conditions that they can keep moving you to the next room until you luck out and find one that isn’t grim….

I think the reviews below describe the accommodation very well, it is hard to know what a motel duty is to their customers and it appears the risk of damp (presumeably from mould) is acceptable at the Station. The food is terrible, the staff just say there is nothing than can be done. They cite that it is advertised as budget. That is not in the website descriptor. Perhaps they should call it Really Disgusting But You Will Book It Because it is Cheaper than the Other Options. That would be a fairer description.

this place is a dump,without question the worst place i have ever stayed,3rd world huts are better than this place. One freezing empty room with bunk beds lumped together and nothing else,basic is an understatement,jail cells would be more comfortable,a disgrace really that this place is allowed to operate.

I stayed here in 1992, I think I may have slept on the same mattress. The walls dividing the rooms are so thin I’m surprised they aren’t see through. Being a budget option my expectations were not that high, but being able to hear every word of conversation from the bogans in the next room is beyond the pale

Just experiencing the worst customer service before even heading down to the snow. There's no snow which I pointed out and asked to rebook or some ( any) form of credit to put towards another weekend instead. Being stupid enough as I was pointed out by Carly for booking a room at start of opening weekend" that's the risk you take !" she said. The reality is had I not been so stupid and waited for snow they wouldn't have had a booking at all instead of the $900 approx it's costing us. No goodwill, no credit just really poor service. Good luck running your business. We've plenty of families that have bought Epic passes that would possibly use the station for this reason as a discount is offered. Clearly we will be advising them elsewhere. Get your act together Station. Times are hard enough, no need to be greedy, better to be sustainable.
