The cleanliness is okay. The hotel is at a crossroads, which can be a bit noisy. When I came back at 1:30 in the afternoon, I found that the door could not be opened. I called the front desk and asked them to help open the door and pick up my luggage. After waiting for a long time, no one came. I took my room card and went down to find it. At the front desk, it turned out that it still couldn't be opened, so I had to ask the cleaning lady to help me open it. Because I saw that the facilities included a minibar when I booked it, but I didn't actually see it. I asked the front desk and she told me that the one I ordered was the most common high-end one. , the minibar only has two bottles of mineral water, which really made me laugh. The homestay is really nice. It is located ideally near to the artist quarter of Taoxichuan, but also not too far from other destinations. It is very quiet, with a lovely yard and their own pottery workshop. The room was equipped as advertised, modern, quiet, clean (no carpet, clean floor ☺️) and nicely decorated. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful with our belongings and could give some good tips for sights. Overall we enjoyed our stay very, very much!

This place was truly a complete escape away from life, and it was so difficult to leave. The location was incredible, but more than that, the service provided was unlike anything we have ever experienced. The staff, Juanjuan and Xioaxia, were always so friendly and ready to help us with whatever we needed. As we are not from China, there were quite a few things we did not know how to do or were unable to do without a Chinese phone number, but with Juanjuan and Xioaxia, we were able to navigate those waters. Do not skip out on visiting the whole property and experiencing all they have to offer! Every staff member from the bar staff, reception, waiters, etc were all so wonderful and kind. We are already planning our next trip back to this little escape.
