Wyndham Junhao Xishuangbanna

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offered a pick-up service, and the driver was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service with a great attitude. I highly recommend this hotel.

After comparing a few Wyndham hotels, I chose this one, the most expensive. I stayed for two nights and ended up with a head injury. The manager, visibly nervous, made a phone call and sent a supervisor with me to the hospital, claiming the hotel had insurance and I should just pay the medical expenses normally. After getting checked out and returning, the manager said they needed to follow a process and couldn't guarantee the medical expenses would be covered by insurance. (It felt like I'd encountered a scam operation.) I told them I'd wait for their decision. Overall, my stay was extremely unsatisfactory. Objectively, there are serious design flaws and safety hazards in the hotel's design. All corners of the circulation paths have 90-degree aluminum edges, and the opening direction and mechanism of the bathroom doors are severely flawed, restricting movement and making it easy to bump into people at night. For such a high-end hotel, the nightlight system requires manual activation for each light. If you're traveling with children, I strongly advise against choosing this hotel due to the significant safety risks.

Stayed for four nights, and every day the bedding felt dusty. Housekeeping was extremely sloppy; on the first day, my child dropped some cookie crumbs on the floor, and they were still there on checkout day. The refrigerator was incredibly noisy and didn't even cool properly. The hairdryer was also terrible; it took ages to dry my short hair. Breakfast was subpar as well. The only positive was the very enthusiastic front desk staff.

After comparing several hotels in Xishuangbanna, I finally chose the Wyndham Grand Xishuangbanna, and the stay completely exceeded my expectations, full of surprises! The hotel room was spacious, bright, clean, and had high ceilings, making me feel comfortable as soon as I entered. I was initially worried about any unpleasant smells due to its recent opening, but that was completely unnecessary. The room offered panoramic views of Xishuangbanna, a truly unforgettable experience. Even more surprising was the thoughtful touch from the housekeeping staff – the towels were folded into adorable little elephants, and the bed was scattered with fresh flowers. This attention to detail instantly touched me, boosting my positive impression! The service here was incredibly attentive. Every staff member greeted me with a genuine smile, polite and welcoming. Our butler, Xiao Rui, was always proactive, answering our questions without requiring much effort. We also rented a car from the hotel's business center, and our driver, Xiao Wang, was even more heartwarming. He not only helped with our luggage but also patiently explained how to visit the various attractions in Xishuangbanna, saving us a lot of time planning our trip. Even the details were impeccable: at breakfast, the staff proactively asked if the dishes suited their taste; the housekeeping lady always greeted them warmly. Overall, a perfect experience! I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Xishuangbanna. If you need a car, just contact Mr. Wang at the hotel's business center – you won't regret it!
