In terms of hardware, the B&B has indeed put considerable thought into its selection, using mid-range and high-end brands for bathroom fixtures and fittings. Initially, the quality appears good. However, the actual experience was somewhat disappointing: the room floor was not cleaned properly, with hair visible in many places; the room had a strong sour odor, which was difficult to use; the shower room lacked a non-slip mat, making it slippery and prone to falls; the common areas were damp and hot, with a noticeable musty odor, likely due to the local climate, but increased ventilation and dehumidification should improve this. The room design also lacked consideration for privacy.
Service was a weakness. While the front desk staff were polite, they lacked initiative in resolving issues. Particularly puzzling was the fact that, on a hot summer day with numerous mosquitoes, our driver was refused entry to the lobby to rest and wait, even though there were no other guests. This rigid "rule" made the otherwise welcoming B&B seem uncaring.
Overall, the B&B has the foundation to improve its hardware, but further attention needs to be paid to hygiene details and the warmth of the service. Currently, it's barely passable. I wouldn't choose it again anytime soon.
