HanTing Hotel (Xishuangbanna Jinghong Manting Imperial Garden)

Excellent stay! Four of us were very comfortable, with ample space. The best part was having two bathrooms, which offered both privacy and convenience. The location received unanimous praise from us and all the local drivers who picked us up – it's not in the bustling downtown area but still super convenient for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing, allowing for a good night's rest! The hotel's car rental service was also great; the driver was responsible, dedicated, and friendly! The front desk and cleaning staff were meticulous and had excellent attitudes! Breakfast was delicious too! Overall, a huge thumbs up! We'll definitely be back!

The rooms are excellent, especially this type of room located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It's perfect for family trips, with a connecting door that offers both privacy and convenience when traveling with family. The best part is having two bathrooms, which is incredibly practical. The soundproofing is good, and the whole place feels very new. Free parking is available, and there are fast chargers (though a bit pricey at 0.9-1.3 yuan/hour, they are very quick).

The hotel's price of over 400 yuan is not cheap; it's comparable to prices in Beijing (during the same period). After the winter break, the price is significantly reduced by half, and the price of around 1400 yuan during the Chinese New Year is still astonishing, demonstrating the high markup. The hotel facilities follow the Hanting's uniform decor style, lacking overhead showers, but the showerheads have extremely low water pressure, almost dripping. If you try to increase the pressure, the water becomes cold, which is quite uncomfortable. The hotel staff's service attitude is also terrible; I haven't seen a smile in several days, and they are unresponsive to questions. When I called the front desk, they hung up before I could even finish speaking. They also refused to help me call a taxi. Is this really the service attitude of a hotel? I wonder if, as the front desk said, they are a franchise, so their service attitude isn't as high as other Huazhu Club hotels in other cities.

I booked a room a month in advance, specifically a family room on the seventh floor. A male staff member even called to confirm the day before check-in, which pleased me and made me think the service was good. However, upon arrival, they assigned me a room on the third floor. Look at the photos; the view from the window is like this – clearly an empty room was given to me. Families with children should absolutely avoid the third-floor family room! Beware! Beware! Beware! Beware! Honesty is essential. The hotel's actions were disheartening!

The second time, the check-in process was unprofessional and dragged on, making things chaotic for just three people in a few rooms. My main favorites were their washing machine and dryer; everything else was just average.

I guess I was unlucky; they gave me a corner room. They said it was 23 square meters and even had a bathroom, but it barely felt that way. The moment I walked in, I wanted to change rooms. The environment was nice, but it was so small I felt like I couldn't breathe.

We wanted to extend our stay in Xishuangbanna by one day, and the Hanting Hotel was very comfortable. We stayed in the same room for another night. This was the first time I've stayed at a Hanting 3.5 hotel in several cities during this road trip, and they've all been excellent value for money. The rooms are new, elegantly styled, and the bedding and amenities are of star-rated hotel quality. Breakfast and parking were also very convenient. It's a great choice for road trips and families with children, and I highly recommend it.

Facilities: Good, all new. Cleanliness: Quite clean. I've been staying at Hanting Hotels throughout this trip, and their renovations, cleanliness, and service are all excellent. Environment: Clean and tidy. Service: Warm and welcoming; they met my basic needs perfectly. Excellent.
