Staying at the Dai King's Palace | 3 Minutes to Starlight Night Market + 300㎡ Huge Pool, Kids Didn't Want to Leave! For our first stop in Xishuangbanna with the kids, I chose the Dai King's Palace Thai-style hotel, right in the heart of Gaozhuang. And it turns out, that was an excellent decision! The Starlight Night Market is just downstairs, a 3-minute walk away. It's perfect for entertaining the kids, grabbing food, and taking photos, all in one go! 🏊 300㎡ Outdoor Pool: A Kid's Paradise As soon as we entered the hotel, we were amazed! The rooms are built around a massive 300㎡ outdoor pool. The pool is divided into a shallow area (0.8m deep) and a deep area (1.4m deep), and the water temperature was absolutely perfect. My kids jumped in and simply refused to get out. Lush tropical vegetation surrounds the pool, and the water is crystal clear, reflecting the blue sky beautifully. Adults can relax on the loungers by the pool, enjoy the breeze, and take photos – it really makes you feel like you're on vacation. 🌴 Thai Courtyard: Fun for Kids, Great for Photos Xishuangbanna is hot, so the kids could easily spend an entire afternoon playing at the hotel, allowing the adults to comfortably take photos nearby. The hotel has a Thai-style courtyard design, featuring Thai carved rooms and soft bedding. White walls contrast with dark railings, and tropical palm trees and banana leaves create a stunning backdrop. Every photo looks like it's from a Southeast Asian vacation! 📍 Unbeatable Location! Starlight Night Market Just Downstairs The location is truly impeccable – the hotel is right next to the Gaozhuang Starlight Night Market, a mere 3-minute walk away, and just 1 minute to the Grand Golden Pagoda. In the evening, after eating and shopping, it's just a short stroll back to the hotel, no need to rush for transportation. During the day, you can even hear the chanting from the Grand Golden Pagoda, which is incredibly soothing. Our room's balcony offered a perfect view for photos with the pagoda, an excellent spot! 🎁 Plenty of Welcome Benefits Guests receive a complimentary one-time airport/station pick-up service, and a delightful rainforest afternoon tea on the first night. Family rooms also come with children's toiletries – attention to detail at its best. 📸 Photo Tips: The pool and Thai architecture are fantastic photo opportunities. In the evening, when the sunlight hits the water, every shot turns into an Instagram-worthy masterpiece. I recommend wearing light-colored or brightly colored clothes; they go perfectly with the Thai backdrop. 💡 Tips: The hotel is in the core area of Gaozhuang, and parking is limited. If you're driving, it's advisable to contact the front desk in advance to reserve a spot. And remember to book ahead during peak season like summer! Of all the hotels we stayed at during this Xishuangbanna trip, the Dai King's Palace was one of the kids' favorites – splashing in the pool, having fun at the play area, and exploring the night market. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the hotel stay was very comfortable. I was really pleased with the room, and the front desk lady was patient and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. There's a pool on the ground floor, and the location is super convenient!

Just 100 meters from the Golden Pagoda and the Starlight Night Market, with plenty of restaurants and beauty salons downstairs. I especially loved their pool; it felt like it shielded us from the outside hustle and bustle. The hotel itself has a Thai ambiance, giving off a real rainforest vibe. The staff were also very thoughtful, and the butler service was excellent.

The entire hotel boasts an authentic Dai-style courtyard design, with lush tropical greenery, creating an immersive ambiance. The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding and complete amenities. The owner is warm and attentive, and the location is very convenient for getting around. It's perfect for taking photos everywhere, allowing you to fully experience the Dai culture. My trip was very comfortable, and I will definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You step right out to the iconic Golden Pagoda, and once you've parked your car, you don't need to move it again to explore the entire Starlight Night Market. The facilities are great, and you can even grab complimentary bottled water. The front desk staff was also very accommodating; they offered extra afternoon tea, which was a shame I only got to use once because I couldn't make it back in time. This is an excellent choice for a trip to Jinghong! 👍

The staff were really friendly, the hotel environment was very clean, and the location was convenient. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby. It's lively but not noisy at night.

Overall, it's pretty good. The kids' play area and sports facilities aren't great, but everything else is fine. The pool is open for swimming, and it's right next to the Starlight Night Market with plenty of restaurants nearby, just a short walk away. Very convenient for getting around.

Daiwang Palace has an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the Starlight Night Market, right in the heart of Gaozhuang where it's lively and bustling. If you're driving, you can park right at the entrance, which is super convenient. The moment you step into the hotel, you're greeted by a strong Thai vibe, with lush greenery everywhere – very therapeutic. There's also a shared pool, which is perfect for photos! We stayed in a room with a 2.4-meter king-size bed, which was great for traveling with kids; they could jump around without us worrying about them falling. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit!

The Starlight Night Market is right next door, but the room's soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep 💤. Downstairs, there are all sorts of small shops, making it super convenient for browsing and grabbing a bite. 🏨 The design is like a Thai-style courtyard house, and there's a banana grove in the courtyard! It really gives off that Chiang Mai vibe~ A large outdoor swimming pool in the center – every photo you take just screams "I'm in Thailand" 📸. The room interiors also have a strong exotic feel, with lush greenery outside the window. Just staring out at the view is incredibly therapeutic 🌿. Plus, there's a "Xiaodu Xiaodu" voice control system, allowing this lazy person to achieve the freedom of "speaking, not lifting a finger" haha. We even got a complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in, which shows real attention to detail~ Breakfast is also worth praising, with not only authentic Yunnan flavors but also unique Dai minority snacks. We left feeling very satisfied 😋
