The hotel shows its age; old photos were even still hanging in the rooms. However, the service quality at hotels in Beijing is genuinely top-notch, far exceeding what you'd typically find in 4-star hotels elsewhere, easily reaching a 5-star standard. This truly deserves high praise. Being an older establishment, the bathroom was quite small, yet it still featured a rather useless bathtub, which might have been intended to cater to international guests. Personally, I believe it could be removed entirely to make the bathroom much more spacious. The location is extremely convenient: it's a 5-minute walk to the subway, and the China World Trade Center (Guomao) is right next door, just a 10-minute stroll away. The third picture is an exterior shot taken from the hotel room.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the service was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We stayed at the hotel after being discharged from surgery, and the front desk staff were exceptionally considerate. They went above and beyond, not only taking the patient's feelings into account and providing convenient services but also making flexible adjustments to our accommodation requests. This truly demonstrated a high standard of service – so meticulous, patient, and thoughtful. It truly deserves all the praise! 👍👍👍 We absolutely look forward to staying at your hotel again on our next visit to Beijing!

This is the best hotel I stayed in during my three-week trip! It is the only hotel I did not find any fault with, and it is the ceiling of domestic hotels. I booked a connecting room with clear clouds and sun. The room is extremely comfortable and warm, with beautiful scenery outside the window, fresh and delicious welcome fruit plate, neatly arranged tea sets in the room, spotless; the temperature in the room is suitable when I check in, the bedding is soft and comfortable, there are enough plugs on the bedside tables on both sides for multiple electrical appliances to charge at the same time, the bathroom is extremely clean, without any mold spots, and the bath towels are of super good quality. The flower arrangement in the lobby is fresh and beautiful. It happened to rain on the day of check-in, and the hotel provided umbrella service very considerately. Xiangshan Hotel was designed by Mr. I.M. Pei in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and it has been more than 40 years since then. The hotel perfectly integrates the essence of Chinese and Western culture, and it is a classic that will never go out of style with every step. It is worth a visit.

Before checking in, I'd assumed it was an old hotel, but I was genuinely impressed upon arrival – it's actually better than many hotels built in 2022. Hotels along Beijing's central axis are typically very expensive, so this one is a rare find at a reasonable price point. The Dongfang Hotel is a long-established, state-owned 3-star establishment.

The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion. Each room also features a balcony with two chairs and a small table, and the soundproofing is excellent. The subway station is conveniently located just a short walk through the hutong. Across the street, you'll find Ji Xiaolan's former residence and the Huguang Guild Hall. And don't miss the delicious and affordable BBQ Liu restaurant tucked away in a small hutong nearby.

A special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the fifth floor and the friendly doorman at the main entrance; their kindness and genuine 'Old Beijing' hospitality truly warmed my heart. Breakfast was good too – you can even get ingredients to prepare instant noodles yourself. The only minor downside was that the fried rice lacked salt.

The room wasn't big, but it was sufficient for one adult and one child. It had a window, and the air conditioning provided fresh air. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's very well-maintained. The staff were also very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Metro Lines 2 and 4, and all the popular *hutongs* are within 5-6 kilometers. They offer robot room service and complimentary laundry and drying services. The only downside was that the view from the room I booked wasn't great. I recommend asking about the room's orientation beforehand.

Stayed for two days, the front desk helped to upgrade the room type, thank you! Very close to the comic exhibition, only four or five minutes walk, the hotel smells good, the room has its own iron, the carpet is relatively new, and it is large and very suitable for cosplay. It is only more than 300 per night during holidays... God, is this still the price in Beijing?
Others: The breakfast buffet is 58 per person, which is a bit expensive for me, but it is also good to have a hot meal. The bathroom is a bit old but within the acceptable range. In short, good reviews!

First time in Beijing, during the Spring Festival, it was too difficult to book, I booked 10 days in advance. It took a long time to choose when booking. The hotel is close to the subway, has windows, twin rooms, large area, very good, equipped with air purifiers, refrigerators, everything, and the service is also very enthusiastic. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned, and the towels and bathrobes are hard, but overall it's not bad. The surrounding shops are closed during the Spring Festival, and it's hard to find a place to eat, but there is a small supermarket that can solve the problem.

Unexpectedly perfect! The room is very comfortable and even has a smart toilet. And the room has a direct view of the sea, the view is amazing! The hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the beach, and on the other side of the hotel is the famous Qinhuang Alley, where you can eat, drink and have fun! Finally, I would like to praise the hotel's service staff, who are very enthusiastic and the experience is simply great
