It was snowing heavily and I was trapped in Jiuquan. The hotel was very good, especially the lady who served on the floor. She was very nice and took the initiative to help with washing and hanging clothes. She also cleaned the place in a timely manner. I just forgot to take pictures.

The location of the hotel is excellent, it is very close to the night market, the parking space is convenient, and the room is very good. I especially praised Miss Zhang at the front desk. I forgot my charger in the room and actively helped me express it. It was warm and thoughtful. It definitely represented the hotel's corporate image. I hope that the hotel leaders will praise Miss Zhang if they can read the reviews. From Xinjiang, the service awareness of Jiuquan Hotel is the best, giving people a sense of intimacy, the hotel is not new, but has its own connotation taste, cost-effective. Because we were driving by ourselves, it was important to choose a hotel in each place. We wanted to have a good rest. This is the hotel we stayed in both when we entered Xinjiang and when we returned. The room was large, and we could take a comfortable bath. The breakfast was also good. The beautiful lady at the front desk had a very good attitude. We had a meal in the restaurant on the second floor on the way back. The food tasted very good, especially the pregnant mother. Her attitude made us feel comfortable. If I have the opportunity to come to this city, I will stay here again.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to Wanda, about 5 minutes walk to Wanda Plaza, travel is also very convenient, even if the taxi in Jiuquan City is loaded, you can stop the carpooling.

Originally booked the Home Inn, but later found that it did not have a parking lot, so I changed this one. I didn't expect to give me an unexpected surprise. Our group of friends had an amazing time at the Suyun Village Hotel in Jiuquan, Gansu. The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The owner, a talented artist, treated us like family, sharing his local and cultural knowledge over cups of delicious tea. We loved the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, perfect for relaxation. The hotel had cozy spots inside and outside to soak up the sun while enjoying a good book. The hot pot dinner was mouthwatering and warmed us up on chilly nights. With its convenient location, we easily explored Jiayuguan Pass and the Great Wall. This hotel's hospitality was top-notch, and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

GGuest UserThe location of our accommodation is about nine kilometers away from Mingsha Mountain Scenic Area. We drove there in about ten minutes. We have always been looking forward to the starry sky in the northwest, so we found this starry sky-themed B&B and communicated with it first. The store owner is very good at taking starry sky photos. Sure enough, We were not disappointed. The B&B is located at the foot of Mingsha Mountain. There is very little light pollution and the starry sky photos taken are very beautiful.
The room facilities are also very complete. The air conditioner was turned on half an hour in advance. It was already very cool when we checked in in the afternoon. I would like to give a thumbs up to the housekeeper on the day of check-in. He not only helped us take pictures of the stars, but also shared with us how to take pictures of the stars and adjust the parameters of the mobile phone. It was really useful for a long time.

The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers).
This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe location is outside the City center in a green ,lush,very quiet environment and very close the Singing mountains . The hotel is built and equipped in traditionell style. The breakfast is made of fresh and high quality dishes in local style. Absoluty outstanding was the hospitality and the help with information, transportation and even more ..we could experience places , got information about the local live, the history of Dunhuang and much more. Departing was like leaving friends behind. Special thanks to Mr. HU his son, the landlords and to Candy. Hope to visit that place and the awesome stay again.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

MmarkVisited Dunhuang on several occasions before but Bowen Hotel is the best considering its rating and price. It's a 4 star and only 150 CNY per night. For this you get a well appointed comfortable room with a view of the river. The rooms are well set out with plenty of space, power points and light switches where they are needed, and a stable reliable and secure wifi signal. The Hotel is situated about 300m east of Dunhuang museum. So, still within walking distance of night market main street, bars, memory box cafe, bus no.3 to Mingsha etc
The bathroom is good quality with a glass enclosure for the shower unit, which has lots of space. The hot water system is responsive and strong, over 24 hours (-10°C outside). Good quality towels and a floor mat are provided and replaced each day by the effecient room service staff.who keep rooms spotlessly clean. The queen sized bed is super comfortable- not too soft or too hard. The double boutique room also has a coffee table, sofa and matching foot rest.
I especially appreciated the gym on floor 7. Limited but useful equipment (treadmill, weights). Another useful feature is a laundry service - also on floor 7. I was fortunate enough to interact with the hotel manager, (who communicates in English very well) and she arranged a taxi late at night to Liuyuan. Overall a pleasant hotel experience in a great oasis town. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

BBerrrrrrrrrWe got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly.
Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also.
Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area.
The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out.
I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

The beautiful lady at the front desk of the hotel was very enthusiastic when I arrived. She said that the air conditioner in my room had been turned on for me. Translation app will do just fine. 100rmb deposit at check-in and they will give you back at check-out if everything is fine. Room is small, quite old and basic. Smoking is allowed inside hotel floors so it felt really suffocationg. The faucet in the bathroom did not give hot water, only the shower did. The only thing I don’t like is the AC (also heater) emitted kind of a burning smell which made the room suffocated. I turned on for a while and turned off in order to sleep safely.
