Leyu youth hostel

The environment here is great, with the Baishui River right outside. My roommates, besides my friends, included a very cheerful auntie and a girl studying in China. The uncle at the hostel and the owner were both very welcoming. I'm really happy I had this experience! 🥰

The surroundings are beautiful, it's a riverside hostel with plenty of food options nearby.

The room was clean and tidy, with a view of the Baishui River. The white noise of the flowing river was very conducive to sleep. The owner, a warm and hospitable person from Northeast China, was very kind and offered a lot of help.

Very close to the bus stop for pick-up and drop-off. This hostel is quite large and well-run, which is great. The decor is thoughtfully designed.

What impressed me most was how incredibly warm and helpful the owner was, and the lovely young lady at the front desk was just as enthusiastic. The service was spot-on. I stayed for two nights, and she had a smile on her face the whole time. I rambled on quite a bit, but she just kept smiling and responding, which was really heartwarming ❤️. The hostel faces a river, which looks quite pretty at night, haha. They even have Dyson hairdryers! The bed was wide, and the duvet was super comfy; there was no feeling of dampness at all. There's air conditioning in the room, and on the first floor, there are separate tables, chairs, and sofas where you can eat or read. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, plus convenience stores and breakfast places. It's about 2km from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and you can walk along the river for 20-30 minutes to get there. The walk is quite enjoyable, so I highly recommend going on foot instead of taking a taxi. Oh, and there are two little dogs at the hostel! They're absolutely adorable and don't bite. If you stay here, you can play with them for a bit – they feel like fleece, haha.

Facilities: It has everything you need. There's air conditioning, and when it got cold, I just asked the owner for an extra blanket. Cleanliness: It's decent. Though small, it has all the essentials. Environment: It's not too far from the scenic area, and the river outside provides natural white noise. Service: The owner is from Northeast China and is very hospitable.
