Rezen Retreat·Four Seasons Manju Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

Had a great stay here! The staff were all so friendly, warm, and attentive. They patiently helped with any issues we had, and overall, I was really satisfied. The room was clean and tidy, and having a smart toilet and underfloor heating was a huge plus, especially for winter. It's also super convenient, just a 10-minute walk straight to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, no need for a taxi! And there were plenty of breakfast options too.

This hotel is an absolute gem, I've stayed here twice already and I highly recommend it to everyone! First off, I have to give a special shout-out to the lobby manager. Their service awareness is truly exceptional; check-in was incredibly fast, and they were constantly attentive to guests' needs throughout the process. Since I had a lot of luggage, the manager not only arranged for staff to help deliver it to my room but also went out of their way to give me a complimentary upgrade to a room on a quieter floor. This move really won me over! The upgraded room was fantastic! It was very spacious and well-laid out, with no cramped feeling at all. The cleanliness was impeccable, with not a speck of dust even in the corners. What pleased me most were the smart features in the room; the lighting and curtains were all controlled with a single button, which was incredibly convenient. The bedding quality was also very high; the mattress was just right, not too soft or too firm, and the pillows were very springy – a godsend for someone like me who's a light sleeper. The hotel's soundproofing was also excellent; with the windows closed, you couldn't hear any outside noise at all, allowing for a really peaceful night's sleep. In summary, this stay was absolutely perfect. Many thanks to the manager's generosity and thoughtfulness for making my trip even better.

The hotel is super close to the scenic area entrance, less than a 5-minute walk. They have a constant-temperature hot springs area with several jacuzzi tubs and a sauna, open until 9:30 PM. You need to book ahead if you want to use the jacuzzis. The room was very clean, and the toilet was a smart bidet model. The toiletries felt high-end. In the lobby, there's free coffee, tea, and bottled water. The front desk staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was good, but the only thing I'd complain about is that the breakfast area felt really cold, like there was no heating. Overall, it was a great stay.
