Hotels in Goukou, Jiuzhaigou

Our experience at the grand rezen was fantastic. We stayed here to experience jiuzhaigou national park and stayed for 2 nights - as soon as you walk in the service is exceptional, our butler xiaohan (小韩） was incredibly attentive and proactive in ensuring we had a comfortable and relaxing stay, even checking up on us at the end of the day and offering foot wash basins (which were fantastic) since walking through the national park was very tiring, he also arranged a car for us back to the station (at a fee) which I also appreciated and every morning would give us a weather report and let us know to dress warmly!! Lovely service :) The dinner service was also fantastic, the staff were very nice and interactive ensuring we had a comfortable dining experience - special shoutout to the two waitresses who had to deal with our limited Chinese, they were great!

Staying at the Private Travel Hotel was a very satisfying experience overall. The hotel's location is convenient and easy to find, just about a ten-minute walk from the Jiuzhaigou entrance, which is super friendly for visiting the scenic area – you can even leave your luggage at the hotel before heading out, allowing you to explore freely without any burdens. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making daily life and getting around very convenient. Just a short walk from the hotel, there's a direct shuttle bus to the train station, so transportation is excellent. We booked a triple room, which was spacious and well-arranged. The bathroom had a dry and wet separation design, making it comfortable and hygienic to use. The hotel is equipped with heating, but even after setting it to 30℃, the room temperature still felt a bit low, with only certain areas feeling warm. I suggest they could further optimize the heating effectiveness. Apart from that, all other facilities were well-maintained, and I felt very comfortable during my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free accommodation experience, highly recommended for travelers planning to visit Jiuzhaigou.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area branch) for two nights as a solo traveler, and I was thoroughly impressed. First off, check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even proactively offered useful sightseeing tips, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Undoubtedly, the hotel's biggest advantage is its fantastic location! It's only about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, making it the perfect choice for visitors who want to get an early start on their exploration. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. Enjoying an energizing breakfast here before a day of hiking in Jiuzhaigou is essential – definitely don't miss it. What's more, there's a McDonald's and a small supermarket right downstairs. This made grabbing a quick meal, snacks, or daily necessities incredibly convenient, saving me the hassle of having to travel far for supplies. All in all, it was a very convenient and comfortable stay. I would unreservedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou.

Room: The room was incredibly comfortable and fully equipped with smart controls that were very responsive and convenient to use. The front desk provided two key cards right away, which was great because we could leave the heating and AC on to warm up the room while we were out eating. Coming back to a warm room was wonderful. There were also complimentary teas, coffee, a tea set, and a small table perfect for enjoying a cup of tea. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered lovely views outside, adding to the comfort. Hot Spring Bath: The bath area was very spacious, and thankfully not crowded at this time. The large pool was incredibly comfortable, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Food: Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff was also exceptional. I had a large hotpot container from the previous day that wouldn't fit in the microwave, and one of the staff members kindly heated it up for me in a pot. Their service attitude was incredibly friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast closes at 10 AM, and we came down late and finished eating around 10:30 AM, but they never rushed us. In the lobby, there were also complimentary snacks, teas, and coffee available all day, which was a fantastic perk. Service: The service was consistently delivered with a smile. My manager, who happens to be from my hometown in Gansu, was incredibly thoughtful and even gave us a small souvenir. All the other staff members were professional and attentive too. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

Location: 10mins car ride (20yuan) from hotel to scenic site. Not an issue for us. Nice and quiet. Next door lots of restaurants to have a meal. Service: very good and attentive. We were checked in by Ms 104 and Mr 105 (they go by numbers to identify). Both were lovely and polite and helpful. Staff were always available to help. Used the hotel recommendations for private hire transport from train to hotel return. Very happy as driver was prompt and safe. Food: breakfast was quite basic. But for a 1-2 days stay, it was adequate. Restaurant on site was nice. Room: adequate for a 1 or 2 night stay. Clean and functional. Pillows and bed was very very nice and soft/firm enough. Soap/shampoo came in tiny tubes but adequate for a short stay. And I am sure if U called room service for more, they will bring it promptly.

Hotel is 15mins walking to Jiuzhaigou National Park Entrance. I booked this hotel because many review said the hotel provided shuttle bus to the entrance. Unfortunately not during my stay. So i had to take Didi because it was so cold in the morning. Very close to Muslim restaurants, there are few nearby the hotel. My room is big enough for 2 with heated floor.

The room was very clean, as were the bed linens, which were spotless. The hotel was easy to find, with a large, brightly lit sign on the roof. Downstairs, there are many restaurants and small shops, making dining and stocking up on supplies very convenient. It's located between Moon Bay and Zangwang Banquet, so you can choose either as a stop, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the scenic spots. The environment was very quiet; my room faced the hillside, so there was no noise, though I'm not sure about other rooms. While the breakfast wasn't luxurious, you can't expect too much here. It had the basics: congee, noodles, rice, eggs, milk, and bread. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were quite welcoming. The facilities are average, but it would be even better if they had humidifiers and oxygen concentrators.

Highly recommend this place. It has a nice lobby, the rooms are clean, and hotel provides breakfast options. Laundry facilities are available too. It’s also within walking distance to Jiuzhaigou National Park. I found it very helpful to stay near the park, as getting a Didi at closing time can be quite challenging due to surge in bookings and longer wait times. The hotel is located on a street with food and gift shops, which is great for dinner and evening strolls. It is also close to Starbucks, as well as other local coffee and bubble tea shops like Chagee, Luckin Coffee, Mixue & Auntea Jenny. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Jiuzhaigou National Park. Tips: Get train tickets to Huanglong and book a shuttle bus to the scenic area via Trip.com (there may be about a 15 minutes walk to the hotel, or you can take a Didi if you have a lot to carry). Alternatively, if you can’t get train tickets, you can book a direct shuttle from Chengdu, which takes about 6–7 hours and drops you near the hotel. Bookings can be made on trip.com as well.

This hotel and its staff are absolutely wonderful. I was initially torn between staying at Quanji or Manxin, but then I realized Manxin was much closer to the scenic spots, and they could even help arrange transportation. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly kind. They proactively upgraded our room, and when they found out it was my mom's birthday, they even prepared a surprise for her! The room was super comfortable and clean. Thumbs up!
