Fun & Sun River Resort Belek

Let’s start with the good parts, great pools, lovely spa area with friendly staff, free boat to the beach, shop and docs onsite! Bad parts; Not 5* ! So many things wrong with the apartment so we moved apartments on day 2 - previous apartment was at the top of the villa in the alcoves which made the rooms Small and dark and there was a small, grotty shower room with a toilet seat that was stained yellow, only one chair in the terrace/roof area! Second apartment didn’t get better (ants, stained sheet, fixtures coming off in bathroom, badly limescaled toilet, bathroom floor in need of grouting, aircon not working in main bedroom and in middle of night was chucking out soft bits of ice and water on our head! Fridge in room not cold! Communal stairs not cleaned daily! Saw an apple core by the stairs which was there for at least two days and at one point was crawling within ants! Staff speak very little English and use Google translate to communicate sometimes! Food wasn’t too our palate Wifi was only available in the communal parts or if you were right by the window of the room’! Only once in our 7 night day did we find a clean table to eat or one with cutlery! Front desk staff never appeared apologetic when we raised some issues to be fixed! 3 out of 4 of us got sick! We don’t know if it was from the resort as we did go in town each day to eat one meal!

Only the environment is beautiful, the food is delicious, but everything else for this hotel to reach 5* still needs a lot of effort. At best, 3*. The Pool Bar is terrible, all drinks are made in paper cups, the beach is a tragedy. After leaving, I wanted to take the next boat back. The beds are terrible. I really do not recommend this hotel.

we traveled with our friends, who own apartment in that facility (newly renovated and furnished, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine etc, they rent directly in airbnb). Bought separately all-inclusive food package. Food was good, very tasty fresh fruits and salads, wine was not. The beach can be reached by boat along the river in about 15 minutes (beautiful view to the golf course and mountains). What I would recommend is the spa services- it strongly contributed to the quality of the vacation. We chose the hammam ritual first, and a massages for the following 4 days. Our group was satisfied. Müslüm Ucar was my masseur- very professional and good.
