Hotels Near Hie Shrine in Kagoshima

Overall just a pretty decent room for the money in a good location and no noise. The bath is quite nice too. Small but that is expected for a place like this. Quite impressive for a small hotel in the middle of the city.

I stayed on a trip to Kagoshima. I walk a little from the tram station, but I think the location is good. It is a place where you can reach the Astronomical Museum in less than 5 minutes. There are two elevators in the hotel, but it was good without waiting. I thought the room was a bit small, but it was large enough for one person. It's good to have a restaurant in the hotel. The amount is a little high, but it may be a reasonable amount if you think of it as inside the hotel. The breakfast venue is on the top floor, so the view is good and the meal while looking at Sakurajima is good.

It is a business hotel located in the downtown Tenmonkan in Minami Kyushu, but it was only called ”Rem”, and I was able to sleep well as rarely for me to sleep until I was woken up by the alarm clock. The city trams and buses are running on the road right in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast at the talis in the building because it was breakfast for the night, but it was quite well organized and substantial. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

Used on April 10, 2023. The place is in front of the tram stop (tram) Astronomical Museum, which is also a downtown area of Kagoshima, and it can be said that it is a landmark because it is before the bus stops. Certainly there was a shopping mall on the 1st floor, and it felt like a recent hotel, and the inside of the building was beautiful with the impression that it was renovated or newly built. The structure is the front desk on the 7th floor and the guest rooms on the 8th to 14th floors. The 15th floor is a restaurant and breakfast is here, and on a sunny day, you can see Sakurajima, and I think there is no complaint about the local dishes like Kagoshima. However, the deduction point was the following points ● There is no parking lot at the hotel. Since the parking lot is a little far away, I think that if you have luggage, you really need a parking lot. It can't be helped in the structure anymore, but I got the impression that it would be a little painful to carry heavy luggage when I came by car. ● If the affiliated parking lot is a little far away, it's fine when checking out (if it's not rainy), there's no problem, but I got the impression that it would be a little hard if it was raining. ● The content of the restaurant in the morning is fine, but I think there are many guests who come for the specialty ”chicken rice”. However, the impression that the frequency of the ingredient replenishment is slow because there is only soup stock and rice left insufficient replenishment. I understand the feeling of cherishing ingredients, but I have a little doubt ● Acoustic problem in the corridor It happened that it was around 23:00 pm. When I went to smoke on the front floor, I was walking down the corridor from another room, but I heard the sound inside, but I closed my mouth a little. Sure, Shiroyama and Sun Royal are famous in Kagoshima, but considering the convenience and price, I hope it will be a good hotel in the future.

The room was large and the beds were clean and plentiful, so the four of us stayed comfortably. It was nice that the hotel counter responded kindly. It's nice to have a sofa and a dining table.

Hotel is a bit far from train station but they do provide free shuttle bus service. The hot springs bath is located on the top floor with good view of the volcano mountain. You can enjoy the views while taking the bath. There are also many shopping and entertainment complexes close by.

The hotel is very good, clean and hygienic. Opposite the hotel is 711 and Lawson, and there is a freshly made bento. The hotel breakfast and lunch are very good! There is a bus terminal in Kamoike Port 300 meters away, and there are many taxis (the hotel can help call, and the taxi to the city center is 2200 yen). The balcony can watch the sunrise and sunset of Sakurajima. There were 2 earthquakes, and the table lamp shook violently. I looked at the 6th magnitude. It was very clean and the bed was large and comfortable. I was worried that the refrigerator was small, but when I turned on the switch, it cooled properly and I was able to freeze the cold insulator to prevent heat stroke. Breakfast is bread, orange juice and coffee, but there was also a toaster and it was delicious.

I stayed in an ocean view twin room on the 5th floor for one night from June 10th (Saturday). Unfortunately, due to the rain, we were unable to do the ocean SUP that we had planned. This hotel, Sekisui House, is located next to a roadside station and has been opened all over the country for the purpose of revitalizing and interacting with local communities, and Marriott is responsible for its operation. It is a complete ”hotel specializing in lodging,” and meals and activities are provided at nearby local facilities. As it is run by Marriott, the rooms were clean and functionally laid out, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Also, the view of Kinko Bay from the room was wonderful, and there was a beautiful beach right in front of me, so I thought it was a perfect location for swimming in the summer. However, there is no bathtub, and there are no hot spring facilities at the adjacent roadside station, so as a Japanese person who prefers bathtubs, I feel a little unsatisfied. The multipurpose lounge on the first floor was very calm, well-designed, and very comfortable. Here, they provided free services such as coffee and miso soup, as well as a microwave and toaster, all of which were of good quality. It can be made of paper, so I think it will be easier to use if you have cutlery such as plates, spoons, and chopsticks. There's also a coin laundry and a small market space, which I felt was put into place with a lot of thought. I think the issue is the negative relationship between the local community and the hotel. I thought that the area would automatically be revitalized by the establishment of a hotel, and I felt that hotels were leaving all aspects of the area to the area, and there was not much cooperation between them. We felt that there was a need for both parties to work together, such as creating new ways to highlight the best aspects of the area to guests.
