Apart from city center, but supermarket is located in front of the hotel. Very convenient. Tram station is really close by, 10 mins to city center (Tenmonkan)
If you are lucky, you can see Sakurajima volcano from your room, but due to eruption, I could not see it.
Clean, cozy, well organized, it is really nice hotel 🥰

Very conveniently located close to the tram (which goes to the location to catch the bus to Kagoshima airport), as well as other places obviously. Also about ten minute walk to Sakurajima ferry and about a fifteen minute walk to the high speed ferry that goes to Yakushima.
Has laundry and drying that you need to pay for on the first floor. Rooms are typical Japanese business hotel rooms but not ultra small or cramped. I stayed here for several days and enjoyed the view of Sakurajima in the morning and night.
Staff are friendly and prompt.

The room was a good size, clean with good amenities for the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, botanical and also a soap and a sponge, razor, comb and toothbrush). Location was quiet and opposite a supermarket with a few restaurants nearby. 7 min walk to Kagoshima station. Room also has microwave, tv and kettle.

Hotel 's located not far from JR Station within walking distance.
Reasonable price which can redeem TRIP vouchers / coins.
Hotel staff are friendly & helpful.
The hotel' s room is bigger than my expectation.
As all of us know the size of the hotel room in Japan are not large.
Self service for all amenities based on own needed usage.
Opposite is a supermarket which operation business until late night.

This hotel locates a liitle bit away from the Kagoshima hot zone but close to the Ferry Port toward the Sakurajima.
There is also a supermarket across the street full of general groceries and foods, where you can see a lot of local people shopping inside.
It seems all of the LiveMax hotel room has no chair with back.
The cost is pretty worth of it compared to most of hotels in the same level.
