Good hotel, clean, reasonable price. Close to tram through the city. Had a splendid view at Sakurajima volcano! Small but clean and convenient bathroom with all amenities needed, so feel free!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the tram stop for the Aquarium. It's just a five-minute walk to both the Sakurajima Ferry terminal and the aquarium. What's even better is that even their most affordable rooms offer views of Sakurajima. The off-season prices are surprisingly cheap, making it a great option for budget-conscious travelers who prefer not to stay in a hostel. If you're visiting Kagoshima, this hotel is a solid choice. Plus, there's a large supermarket right downstairs that's open until 1 AM. How cool is that? 😄 The pictures were taken from my hotel room – beautiful, right!

Fantastic hotel! It's right by the Sakurajima Ferry, and you can even see Sakurajima Volcano from your room. It's also really close to Kagoshima Station, with a tram and bus stop right outside. Super convenient for getting anywhere!

Located right next to a supermarket so it was super convenient for food, drinks, or other necessities!! The public hotel parking was easy to find, turns out it was shared with the supermarket’s parking garage. Staff were very friendly and helpful with this process. I think it was about a 15 min fairly straight walk to the downtown area, so that was also good. The hotel had everything I needed during my stay too. There was even a personal microwave in the room! However, I find their laundry expensive at 300 yen for a wash load (detergent not included) and 100 yen per 10 mins for the dryer.

Hotel is very nice. Very clean as expected of Japanese hotels. Also very strategic as it is situated closely to a train station. But the highlight of the day is the view of Sakurajima literally facing from the window.
