Kaifeng Time Boiling Rain B&B (Kaifeng Drum Tower)

This is a fantastic homestay hotel I need to recommend, every room is as lovely and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful they seem to be on call 24/7 but always so helpful. I needed to do laundry and the machine and powder worked well it is line drying but undercover so the rain wasnt a problem. There is a convenience store across the road and you can walk to the drum tower night market or a taxi is less than $2AUD. Also convenient for the other main attractions like Millenium city. Now more about the room- the beds are actually comfortable, both bed and linen were better than or equal to other hotels in this price range (I travel a lot) many convenient power points to charger phone, good hair dryer, generius supply of bottled water, clean bathroom, nice towels. I gave 4 out of 5 for location only because some people will pay more to be closer to restaurants, coffee shops etc but it was not a long walk and the value here is fantastic. Every room looked freshly renovated but no bad smells. The stairs to upper floors might be difficult for elderly but I had a bottom floor room.

The hotel was really nice, everything worked perfectly 😊. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Only regret is not taking photos — wish I had🌆. Would definitely stay again!!

The famous Drum Tower and its lively Night Market are just a short stroll away, where I spent my evenings enjoying delicious local street food, traditional snacks, and the vibrant atmosphere. The Kaifeng Railway Station is also conveniently nearby, making arrival and departure very easy. 🍜 Food lovers will especially enjoy staying here because countless local restaurants, cafés, breakfast shops, and authentic Henan street food stalls are just around the corner. Actual finishing is true to what is shown online. Some rooms are small, all rooms are clean, paid a few extra dollars to stay on the 3rd floor Tatami room, the room is big, bed is comfortable, the cove light makes its cozy as well, only drawback is that there is no TV in the accomodation. The couple hosts are very nice and can see how diligent they upkeep the accomodation to the best condition.
