Kaiping B&Bs

Pantower International Hotel is one of the best hotel in the Kaiping area of the Guangdong province. Every room in this hotel has a beautiful view of the Tanjiang River. The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel serves good, inexpensive gourmet dishes, especially sea foods which are supplied by the local aquaculture and daily Dim Sum. There is a private car rental service with a driver to take you around the area with a very reasonable price. A lot of guests like to use the Chinese DiDi services to get around the area cause the hotel is not centrally located. My husband and I always stay at the PanTower Hotel every time we visit our home village and the TaiShen area. This time , May 2023 the hotel has a lot of update and improvements. One suggestion is to book a room at a higher floor to avoid SMOKING SMELL from other guests.

We loved our stay in the heart of an old village that is just opening up to tourism. The rooms were big and comfortable with nice hot showers and the service was kind and helpful. It is easy to rent bikes and go explore the countryside as well as the UNESCO sites that are not to be missed (Li Garden and Zili Village are close by). There are a few restaurants in the village and you can even find western coffee . We will surely come again!

I really loved the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Cito and carina were so helpful and kind. With customer service like that, I will surely book with this hotel again. The only downfall of the room was the air conditioning. It was too hot outside for the thermostat to have restrictions. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

In the center of Kaiping city, you can take bus No. 602 from Kaiping South Station to the downstairs; then walk for about 10 minutes to the bus station, and the route covers the four watchtower scenic spots and surrounding ancient towns. Suitable for one or two tourists who don't want to drive/take a taxi every time and are accustomed to city life. The bathroom and bed were very clean, the window glass was wiped clean and the view of the small city and river was not wasted. The floor had slight flaws and dust. There is enough hot water and the shower head has three water outlets which are very useful. Wifi is smooth, you need to log in with a mainland phone number. There is a security guard and reception desk in the lobby, and you can take a card at the door, but it shares the elevator with diners in the revolving restaurant. It is highly recommended to go to the revolving restaurant for morning tea at your own expense in the morning, with ample snacks and a view of the river. The value for money is very high. In addition, there are 24-hour American fast food restaurants and convenience stores within a 5-minute walk. There are more choices of local restaurants, some of which are open until 22:00.

Stayed for the second time, the parking lot is convenient, close to the city, and quiet. There are many delicacies in Kaiping, so I go out for breakfast. Surprisingly, there is also an air purifier. I brought my own set of travel tea sets to make tea, and it was pleasant...

The last time I entered the same hotel was more than ten years ago. Although the hotel room is very large and the service is good, it is a pity that it is far from the city and there is not even a fruit shop nearby.

It is considered a good hotel in the local area. The facilities are relatively new and very clean. The fly in the ointment is that it would be better if the wet and dry are separated. The hotel is in the city center with convenient transportation. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, especially the little sister who received us on the day of check-in. Seeing that our two elderly people have not returned to the hotel after dark, she was a little worried about us and called us. There are very few caring people like this now. Thank her for that.

I spent a weekend leisure trip with my wife. I stayed for two nights the day before yesterday and yesterday. All I can say is that this homestay is really great. The geographical position is superior, only more than one kilometer away from the highway exit, right by the county road, and close to several major towers, Liyuan, Zili Village, Majianglong Village, Chikan Ancient Town (under renovation, not considered) . From the boss and his wife, the butler’s sister to the waiter’s aunt, the people are very nice, enthusiastic, attentive, honest and honest, just like old friends, really feel at home. The wife offered to borrow a bicycle, and the boss quickly found two. The design of the homestay is very attentive. The first impression is that it is very clean and tidy. Then the facilities are simple and elegant, very tasteful, and can be regarded as a boutique homestay. There is also a swimming pool on the third floor terrace. . The homestay is close to a large field with excellent air and scenery. I strongly recommend the Daoxiang Scenic Room. Although the price is higher, it is definitely worth the money. At night, sit on the small balcony outside and smoke (consciously take care of the room) and watch the clouds flow in the sky. After the clouds have cleared, you can see the sky full of stars. There was a croak of frogs in my ears, just like when I was a child in the country. In the morning, there was a sudden heavy rain. After the rain, it was fine, and two rainbows appeared on the horizon. A perfect homestay, a beautiful encounter. (These were all taken on the small balcony and roof of the hotel.)

The hotel environment is OK and clean; the room size is OK; the location is convenient, the parking service is good, and the check-out is delayed for 2 hours for free. But the overall can be improved, the accessory facilities are not enough, for example, there are no towel racks and clothes hooks in the bathroom, and it is not very convenient to take and put clothes in the shower; the overall lighting is not enough, it is difficult to go out to make up light, and there is no full-length mirror or other mirrors in the room; breakfast again It's really average, the food is almost not too hot, and the boiled corn vomited after the first bite, and it smelled sour...
