The newly opened hotel was fantastic! It wasn't crowded on Friday, and the hotel is very close to the ancient town – just a 5-minute drive. The environment is unique, and you can tell the materials used in the decor are high-quality; it's not just in photos, but you can actually feel the exquisite texture. We chose a duplex family room, with a double bed upstairs and a single bed downstairs – perfect! Sleeping separately meant we wouldn't be disturbed while driving, and we got a great rest. The room was also very clean and new! The separate wet and dry areas were a great design! We were extremely satisfied! Breakfast wasn't a buffet; you had to order from the staff. Perhaps they hadn't had time to adjust it yet, or maybe it was because it was a weekday and there weren't many people, but the food was very good. Also, Chikan Ancient Town was a lot of fun; we didn't even get to see all the theater performances this time! We definitely want to come back for a second visit!

It was easy to navigate directly to the B&B. There's a large, free, unpaved parking area on a small road right next to the property. The room wasn't particularly spacious, even though we booked what seemed like a slightly higher-priced option (referring to the '277' room). There was no dining table. The bathroom lacked proper wet/dry separation and an anti-slip mat, making it quite dangerously slippery when showering. The common areas are lovely, with beautiful views of rice paddies and flowing water. While there are a lot of mosquitoes, keeping the doors and windows shut largely mitigates this issue. On the bright side, the bed was quite comfortable and offered good support, not being too soft. I accidentally left my keys in the room, but after contacting the staff, I was very relieved that the owner had kept them safe and kindly arranged to mail them out to me the very next day. Excellent service! 👍🏻

This guesthouse is absolutely charming with a wonderful ambiance. The breakfast was exquisite. It truly felt like we were staying in our own private villa. The male host was incredibly attentive; the private chef he recommended was absolutely delicious. It was very sunny, and to save us from walking too far, he even picked us up and dropped us off for dinner in a cool three-wheeled vehicle. The female host was also extremely considerate. Overall, a resounding 100 thumbs up!
