I have now visited the Filoxenia hotel three times over a few years, once for a conference during Autumn, and twice during the ski season in Winter, and I was always happy with it. It is a small hotel, with each room having a different decor, so every time I visit, it is kind of different. The rooms are great, not huge but spacious enough for two people and their equipment and everything is kept in mint condition. The hotel has a small car park inside and a few parking spots on the front, which are great for carrying bags when coming on or leaving. As the hotel is located on the edge of the old town, it is not hard to find a space to park, but you can still walk to any spot in the town in 5 minutes or so. The hotel offers a very good breakfast, with hot and cold items, and some day to day variety (plus some traditional items). The hotel has a little spa, and it includes a complimentary visit to each of its facilities, which is a very nice touch. Also, since the spa has changing rooms, there is the possibility of changing into and out of ski gear when coming before checkin or leaving after checkout; this makes life much easier (and thanks to the people running the hotel for recommending this!).

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find, the staff were really friendly and helpful with excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room was spotless and in very good condition. The hotel is practical and well presented, breakfast was good and there is plenty of free parking.

This hotel is very well situated in Kalavrita. It is easy to find, and there is plenty of parking in the surrounding streets. A handy supermarket next door, and so central to the square and the railway station. The hotel itself is very nice, staff were friendly and the public areas were spotlessly clean. We booked a junior suite which was nice enough, but there were a couple of things that let it down a bit.tge bathroom was very outdated and had an unpleasant smell. It generally seemed like it needed a renovation. The shower was awkwardly placed, meaning the door banged off the toilet and couldn't open fully. The other disappointment was the chairs on the balcony. They were so narrow and uncomfortable that we couldn't really use them, which was a shame, as the views were stunning. Aside from that, the bed was very comfortable,the air con was great, and the rest of the room was nicely furnished. Breakfast was fine and you could always find something from the selection on offer. Although the hotel was generally good, given the fantastic produce available in the local area, we would probably opt to rent an apartment if we returned in future.
