The location offers a peaceful beach stay with convenient access. Guests praised the friendly staff and beautiful sea view rooms. However, some found the breakfast lacking in variety and quality.

The location is great. It is very close to the beach. The rooms are OK, but beware of the marble floors, as they may become slippery. You have to buy or bring your own shampoo, body wash and soap. Overall good, but lots of room for improvement.

I was a little worried as I’d seen previous reviews. However I was pleasantly impressed. We booked a sea view room and was given room 46 with a perfect view of the beach and bay. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Rooms cleaned daily, good size, everything you need. Fridge and air conditioning included. Perfect location for the town but not near enough to get any of the noise! Beach bar was good, beers for €2. And a good selection of lunch items. My only complaint would be that breakfast was poor- poor selection of food on offer, and very little variety. We probably only ate breakfast half our days as it didn’t seem worth it to get out of bed 😂

We went there two family with kids with paid reservation. However, so called manager who were at the front desk said 'WE HAVE BİG PROBLEM NO RRON FOR BOTH OF YOUR FAMİLİES'. İmagine how you would feel. This so called manager guy didn't give us any other explanation and tried to send us to some really bad hotel or refund our money and live us there. İn the mean time he was keep telling us big problem no more hotels available stuff like that. Basicly tried to convince us to stay that sheedy hotel. At the end we have come to deal and we would stay one night on the other hotel and next day he would give us our room. Other hotel ıs teribble but when i say terible it is really terible. Waterbucks are everywhere and rooms are very very dirty. Any how, next day finaly after very long talk we got our rooms. We were happy because the reason why we picked this hotel it's by the sea. Condition of the rooms are poor. Before we deperture German family faced with the same problem and felt really bad about them. One another thing after our holiday i have seen my credit card and guess they have wıthdraw the hotel fee 2nd time. İ have called them many many times but they didnt reply back and mailled them many times still no answer. Finaly after 2 months my bank manage the take the money back from them. This the story we have faced with. İ could write more but it will be a long letter so i decide to write what you should really pay attantion when you make reservation from them.

Booked this through easyJet holiday as a package holiday and after reading the reviews and photos provided I thought this booking would be perfect for my 4 day trip. However, when arriving at the hotel on the it all went down hill. The receptionist told me about the tax cost (which I knew) but asked for cash and provided no proof that I’d paid this. He then proceeded to say out loud that I was travelling on my own and what room number I was. As a young female this immediately made me feel vulnerable. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me that the room I had booked was not available until Monday (I went home on the Tuesday) so I would need to stay in a triple room until my original room was ready. He claimed they were overbooked and this is why. I have had this trip booked for months so unsure why this happened. The receptionist wouldn’t help me find my room and just saying ‘outside, outside’. It was a random bar tender that had to assist me finding my room. When arriving at the room I can only describe it as what felt like a large prison cell. The door was located outside of the hotel meaning anyone could access my room door. The door had been previously ‘kicked in’ as it was bent and had 10 screws and a crack on the inside as a repair. The ‘garden view’ was a tiny patio area with plastic leaves covering the wall with no ‘view’ whatsoever. My aircon also did not work and in nearly 40 degree heat, I was sweltering. As there was only males around I felt that I couldn’t say anything as the attitude was already intimidating and unapproachable. I therefore had a awful panic attack in my room and was left in tears and felt unsafe. I contacted easyJet holidays who tried to resolve this but they had no response from the hotel. I luckily noticed on social media my friend was on holiday and called her extremely stressed and upset as I could no way stay in this hotel on my own in the conditions so I had to ask if I could stay with her. I had to drag all my belongings around all day as I did not feel they would be safe in that room. The bug protector on the patio door was extremely hard to open so if I need to get out in an emergency through that door, I would be stuck. The hotel did not seem to care when my friend came and asked why my room was not available on arrival and what are they going to do about it. They had no response and when I showed the lady the photos of the room I booked she didn’t even recognise the room even though this was on THEIR website. They had no added extras like they state. No tea / coffee, no phone, no safe. For the duration of my holiday I had to take day by day where I was staying as my friend was having to put me up in her accommodation. After reading every single review I’m annoyed I didn’t see these before as I would have avoided this hotel completely. They only show their best rooms and don’t care about the fact your holiday is ruined. I can’t comment on the food because I did not go back to the hotel to try it.

Just stop stealing from the guests!!! Our jewellery was stolen from the hotel room. I told the manager from reception that we can't find it in the room. He tried immediately to put blame on us , started to be rude and was just repeating housekeeping are working here 8 years it never happened, they didn't steal it. They've never asked us later if we find it or apologized. In the end of our stay he didn't help to call the taxi service which I wanted, but asked how was the stay , I said bad. And he screamed: "Then never come back here". Breakfast was as described in the comments very dry, food same. One day all the guests were woken up from alarm, which was lasting the whole hour, that's why was no electricity, a coffee machine wasn't working in the breakfast, so we can't even make a tea. Room was fine except the bathroom, there is no space to take a shower not to bang on the toilet. The space is too small and limited. Blood stains on the sheets. Only good was food in the restaurant( highly recommended a greek night on Friday) their stuff and blond lady on the reception. They were amazing. And we love Greece a lot , we will definitely come back , but as said the manager never to their hotel.

We returned to the Lido Star hotel for the third time staying in a Sea View room which was brilliant. All team were fantastic again, Michael, Julien and George and the kitchen team are amazing and really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The cleaners are exceptional keeping the rooms clean and tidy and the common areas spotless. Thank you once again, we'll be returning in 2024. Steve & Jane
