My husband and I and our 2 little girls aged 2 and 4, arrived and got put in room near waste land in the no 600s. Sparse room but looked okay, until the ants nests, cob webs, spiders started up. Under beds unclean. Sockets out of wall, loose wires. Outside bit of land at back to sit out with other guest staying there with the floor covered in Ants. Restaurant like a work canteen, not enough staff, cutlery, plates, food was limited, with no order. Meals times are a mad dash, watching people clean their own tables, water and drinks would always run out, you’d have to ask for everything. Food not labelled at start of the week! There’s only 1 bar for the whole place through the day (more of a shack) that can’t keep up with demand. Also far from the other parts of the hotel, all drinks served in disposable plastic cups, was asked to bring them back to save them money! It was almost impossible to keep going back when you’re carrying plastic cups for more than a 5 minute walk. I used a reusable cup I had bought with me, I was told this wasn’t allowed as it was more beer in one cup. The walk ways and restaurant constantly covered in wasps, so meal times were impossible, needing to move as many landed on plates of food. After feeling so disappointed by it all, I sent an email of complaint. Met with the general manager, who presented initially as aggressive and attempted to blame my husband for some spilt milk at the coffee machine, said he’d report him to the owner as he had it on CCTV! This response caught us by surprise. He later did however offer us a move and upgrade of room after seeing the videos I presented of ant-infestations. He also denied there ever being any complaints, when I referred to trip advisor and other reviews. Said there was 3 Nicholas who worked there! Haha. Of course. The room was much much better, thank you for that. Turned a very bad start around, however we could not move past all the other issues. We ate out every night, bought all our drinks from the shops, the alcohol there was difficult to get hold of, and it was either gone off, watered down or just awful. Highlights, 2 female staff at restaurant, Hella (lovely lady) and another lady who cleaned tables and always said hello. Oh and the hairdryers were very powerful! The location is also ideal for access to the centre and surrounding areas. Other than that, the upgraded family room was very good.. but this hotel overall is not a 4 star in terms of everything. We met other families there who had the same views as us. It could be amazing but there needs to be a real investment into the all inclusive offer and the running of the restaurant and staffing levels need improving. We love Rhodes and stayed in many 4 star hotels, we like a change, but we definitely won’t be returning. Please read all reviews for this hotel before deciding to book. Oh and Nicolas, we wish you well on your future travels!

Just returned from a weeks break..Lovely ground floor room with views of the pools and sea, could do with a bit more storage for your clothes, but not a problem. Room was large with a double bed but a lot of wasted space where either a couple of chairs or some storage could be placed.. not a moan just a suggestion Breakfast was not good, eggs were not cooked properly ( snotty) Bacon was well undercooked, and again not hot, there was a microwave but I personally don’t like warming my food up . There was plenty of yoghurt and fruit, cereal, Lunch and dinner was pretty repetitive and not great, plenty of salad and you won’t starve. The hotel grounds are kept spotless but there seemed a lot of wasted space where maybe a tennis court or mini golf could go because there is absolutely nothing to do day or night, no entertainment at all and is really quite boring. A little mention for Nicholas the manager, very friendly and pleasant man. Unfortunately would not return

Perfect stay for a last minute solo get-away! I stayed in room 412 which was offset from the main complex - perfect for me. There was building work going on opposite but it did not affect my stay in the slightest. Rooms were new and clean. Plenty of sun loungers and friendly staff especially the guy who checked me in when I arrived very late, the pool bar staff and the manager! It felt really safe. I’d definitely come back!

NOT A FOUR STAR! Rooms are clean but basic, bed comfy. The rooms require a wardrobe and there is plenty of space to add one. I hated my clothes being on show for the entire two weeks and no where to store our family’s things. Ants were in bathroom coming up from the drains. The Manager was great I found him friendly and approachable. Like he says if he doesn’t know about the problem then he can’t solve it. I do think it’s bad that this chain of hotels over book people and then turn up and they move people saying it’s an upgrade. we spoke to so many people that this happened too and it’s not on. Food wasn’t the best especially for a four star hotel chips were been re heated, food cold and the snack bar was the worst I have ever been too. You should be able to order fresh food fries ,toasties, gyros, ice creams the hotel was just serving food that was left over from lunch, not good! (We eat out a lot). This hotel is well suited for adults only. There was no entertainment like love holidays sold us this is not the hotels fault. The grounds around the hotel really need sorting out nothing is finished off. Drinks in plastic cups when it’s a four star hotel is not good and drinks need improving the wine is disgusting. The drink quality poor again it’s supposed to be a four star hotel and I’m not sure how it’s got it’s four stars. The Pool needs heating in October it was freezing. The floors around the pool should be jet washed every day this is the only hotel I have stayed at and it was done once for the entire two week stay. The Hotel reception area is eye opening it’s more of a 2 star hotel. The only saving grace is the hotels location on the beach front. The hotel needs a lot of improvements. The hotel It’s close falaraki and we hired a car to see the island it’s beautiful in lindos and Rhodes old town. We also caught the bus to Rhodes old town just outside the hotel.

Had a lovely week in evita bay hotel. I was so scared to go because of the scare mongers writing such bad review, please don’t listen to them. Clean rooms daily cleaning lovely staff food was lovely even for my fussy eaters. The only negative I have was there was only one larger to have no cider. And that it was a sheet and no quilt but it like it in a few hotels abroad . I would definitely go back lovely clean pools and the beach just at the front door basically. Thanks you to all the staff.

So this is our last night of a 2 week visit..our second time and we will return next year. Our welcome from Klodian was fabulous..thank you, also to Dia on reception. Nothing was to much trouble ..our room 469 far exceeded our expectations and we thought last year was amazing !!!! The room was huge ...minimalist in decor ( for the person who complained about no pictures!!)..Spotless and beds changed every second day ...great shower and hairdryer....We found the food to be exceptional ...Veal,beef pork authentic Greek cooking ..loved the new edition of the side bbq grill ..breakfast pancakes...gyros..a surprise every evening....The restaurant staff especially the lovely Rosa and Hela work especially hard to make sure everything was perfect the beach bar with Nicholas and Renato was a great place to spend an afternoon.. I discovered my love of vermouth!!!! The lobby bar was ran by the witty ,kind efficient Aldo who went out of his way to ensure everyone had a good holiday...dismayed to read negative reviews obviously folks who have a fantastic holiday don't comment....exceptional value for money ...and the setting is perfect
