The staff was very helpful! But the lobby toilet was a bit dirty. I wish the buffet had more variety. The food was delicious, but I got bored of eating the same thing over and over again.

Really nice place and localization. It is really close to beach (just one bridge and you are near the sea). Hotel is organising every evening some animations (Greek night, disco, bingo, shows etc.). Food is tasty and different. Huge plus for hotel because of very positive and helpfull menager (MOMO) - if you need anything then he will always find quick solution. :) it creates really nice and family atmosphere :).

First of all, this hotel looks every bit as lovely as it does in the photos. Right on the beach with free sunbeds and parasols and lovely thick mattresses on them. Comfiest sunbeds we have ever had. Went for a week on 8th October in a double room with side sea view. On arrival at the hotel, you have to go down some steps which lead into the restaurant which we thought a bit strange, but anyway, the reception is just round the corner. The lovely young lady on reception greeted and welcomed us warmly. Her name was Angela too. We did all the necessary stuff, the safe key, the tourist tax etc and Angela took us over the road to the other hotel building and showed us to the lift. We had room 133 allocated to us. Big family room, huge bed, single bed settee and a fold out bed chair. TV, fridge with complimentary bottle of water and a bottle of wine too. Tea and coffee making facilities. My first thing is always to go on the balcony and see the view. I have to say i was disappointed. Yes i could see the sea, and the garden was very nice too, but there was a huge tree in front of the balcony which cut out all the light, sunshine and air. We stayed in that room for the evening and all of the next day, before i admitted to myself that it was going to spoil my holiday not having any sunshine coming in, so i went to reception and asked if i could change rooms and explained why. They were extremely helpful, they couldnt do anything that day, but the next morning they offered me a key to a different room and said if we liked it, to just move our stuff into it, which is what we did. We only moved along the corridor, but into room number 137 which was bathed in beautiful sunshine, so light and airy, although it was a smaller room and very small bathroom, but i was much happier. All the staff, the cleaners, barmen etc are always friendly and smiling and always greet you, the place is very clean and tidy and our bedding and towels were changed every single day. You are given 2 beach towels in your room and also some slippers, there is extra bedding in the wardrobe, along with a small safe, which is located on the floor in the corner - not very good for those of use with old bones! As i mentioned previously, the hotel is in two halves. One side houses the restaurant, reception, lounge areas, inside entertainment and the other side has the heated indoor swimming pool, spa, gym and kids machines, snooker tables etc. They are seperated by a narrow road which can at times get busy. There is a river to one side of the hotel which is very pretty at night with a couple of little boats all lit up, and there are the geese and ducks - who make themselves heard on many occasions. These geese are very tame and also wander around between the sun beds, especially if they hear you rustling a paper bag, they come waddling along expecting something to eat. The sea was lovely and warm which was a blessing because the 2 outdoor pools were absolutely freezing. The Beach bar - which i

This is the latest of my many visits to Kalyves Beach Hotel. I had some requests which the helpful reception team sorted out no problem. I will always recommend this place to family and friends not least due to the amazing service from the staff. We always feel welcome and they make sure that your needs are met. The hotel is kept super clean by the hardworking cleaning staff and catering team. Having lunch by the river or a beer on the beach where the hotel is located is just heaven. The beach bar is super and the bar staff are have great hospitality. Though some of the hotel facilities could do with an update such as modern a/c units and bathrooms, this is just a small thing as the overall value for money is perfect. Coming to the end of my stay and already planning to bring more family to experience the lovely hotel and amazing village of Kalyves. Thanks!

This hotel is amazing for all the following reasons: 1. We were always made to feel welcome by all the friendly, helpful staff. 2. The location is quiet at night which is perfect for families or couples wanting a quiet break. It's right on the beach with plenty of sunbeds on either side of the river. You are more likely to find vacant sunbeds on the left side of the river (across the bridge) as long as you don't mind the local geese roaming about (we found them to be quite inquisitive and comical). If you wish to swim in the sea we would advise you swim on the right side (across the other side of the pier from the river) as there are freezing cold pockets of water from the river which mingle with the much warmer sea water. 3. The hotel was very clean. Our room was cleaned daily and all the communal areas were spotless. 4. The food was pretty tasty, some may say it's repetitive and not terribly exciting but they do vary some of the meat and fish and there are a few local dishes thrown in so you can be adventurous or as safe as you like. The breakfast was also very tasty and there were salads, cakes and sandwiches as well as limitless ice creams available all day. 5. The all inclusive drinks were limited to about 7 different cocktails, self service beer on tap, local wines, local spirits and mixers and standard teas and coffees. I wish that we had upgraded to all inclusive plus for the full choice of deluxe cocktails and hot drinks but by the time we realised the difference it was too late for the 30 Euros each deal. We were told that a single day's upgrade would amount to approximately half the whole weekly cost so decided with a heavy heart not to bother. We feel that the staff could have made more effort to sell this upgrade to us on day one by offering one free complimentary upgraded drink so we could see the difference and make an informed choice. 6. The entertainment was lively and engaging, there was plenty for little kids to do including a bubble party, multiple play areas, nightly kids disco/entertainment. There was also live music and dancing for the adults later. The games room had a pinball machine, table tennis (no charge) and a pool table for 2 euros per game. The pool table wasn't exactly flat but it was fine for a fun non-competitive game or 2! 7. The pools were kept clean and we both had a very enjoyable treatment at the spa. We paid for a facial and neck, scalp and shoulder massage but ended up also having a free foot massage, sauna and jacuzzi thrown in which made it a very reasonably priced pamper day!! The therapist was very professional, knowledgeable and skilled in her work. We chose a sea view room and didn't regret it! It was lovely to open the curtains every morning to be greeted by the sea view and sound of waves crashing in. We used the balcony every day to play games and take in the wonderful view out across the pool, bar area, river, pier and beaches! Because we upgraded we also got local wines, water, fruit b

Overall very good! 100% would visit again, thanks to staff. Maids, barstaff are all very friendly and personal. They remember names and are being very greetful. Special thanks to bar staff for being very sweet and mindful. And animator Iva, super friendful and sweet with the kids! Also lifeguard Valentina, sweetest soul! I did not appreciate the manager tho, he yelled at employees in front of the customers, very unproffessional and rude. Cleaning is done good. But rooms equipent is old, showers are flooding over, shower temperature is impossible to regulate and fridge makes terrible noise

It was amazing hotel in kalyves village. Our room was very clean Barmen didn’t have the drinks that we wanted but they were pleasant. buffet decoration in the restaurant by the chef, perhaps the best by far that I have seen in recent years. nice colours . traditional utensils/pans create harmony and attract the public to eat happily.
